"Please!!!" The whole class begged of our art teacher, Mr Aldis.

"It's caramel slice for afternoon tea! That is so rare!!! Just 3 minute early!"

My Aldis chuckled at our antics. Us, as boarding school girls, had an obsession with food.

"Ok. If you work well you may leave early."

The class cheered and then quickly put their heads down to continue their work.

"Thank you Mr Aldis!!!" One girl shouted, jumping up and running out the door before Mr Aldis could say anything. Everyone followed. Luckily, Mr Aldis was awesome and didn't mind all that much. With a chorus of hurried 'thank you's' the classroom emptied.

"Susan! Hurry up!!"

Susan, being the slow one, packjed up her stuff with no rush at all.

"Urgh! Catch up!"

I ran out if the classroom and Susan finally picked up her pace and ran after me. We sprinted down the six flights of stairs, grabbing our bags and stuffing our stuff into them. We ran to the dining hall through the rain, only to find a huge line of hungry girls waiting for the deliciousness of caramel slice.

"Susan!" I pulled her into a hug at the prospect of gooey caramel slice. Suddenly the line of jabberingf girls went silent as the doors to the kitchen opened ominously. Girls swarmed into the kitchen as I pushed forward to the trays of food. Once it was my turn, I stared at the trays. Apricot.

There, in place of the promised caramel slice was measely, crumbly apricot slice. Yuck.

The stream of previously happy girl walked slowly out of the kitchen dejectedly. The dining hall was unusually quiet this afternoon.

"We have been tricked! They decieved us!" I exclaimed to Susan, who was looking just as dissapointed as everyone else.

With that, we walked back outside into the rain.
