After waiting out in the bathroom for some time, the static began to fade till the house was full of dreadful silence. "Ok, I believe the coast is clear. We need to get to my car, and then get out of town and...and-" Poppy seemed to hyperventilate, she must have felt with that tall creature once before but her action seemed more off than normal. "What makes you think there is a we in thus?" I stood finally regaining my strength "Poppy I love you, but this is nuts! You kill people- kidnapped me- and for some reason there is a paranormal tall ass man creature after me that never bothered me till that dam party!" I swung my hands and stepped around the little space I had in the bathroom we seemed almost trapped in. Poppy looked ready to cry or scream- gridding her teeth she clutched her fists and tried containing herself "I am trying to protect you!" I ran up pulling her up by the collar of her shirt before she had finished yelling at me. Poppy smiled at my course of action and lifted her hand to grip my wrist, "Also...I might have killed some people, but you were to one to kill the people at that slaughter party." She began to chuckle, awaiting my reaction. "No... I was just drunk, all I did was drink and hide in the bedroom- I wouldnt-"
"I know you wouldnt"
"Then why would you say-"
"Yes you were drunk but 'he' used you as a little ginnypig"
If I wasn't confused before I was at that moment. 'By he she must mean that figure we saw earlier... it did mention the party...' My body stiffened and my hands were shacking as I held Poppy up. I wanted to slap the insanity out of her- but I couldnt; even if I wanted to part of me couldn't hurt her (on purpose). The blonde I held on to looked at me seriously "you know..." She let go of my wrist slightly lifting both arms from her sides, "I really wonder how you'd react knowing what really happened at that party. After he came I tried to save you but you listened to him like a beat up lost dog: killed a guy by sticking his head in a bucket of bleach- laughing your ads off as he drowned. Oh and then there was that girl who you stabbed to death cause she tried attacking me. It was almost romantic...Oh~ Then there was Jasmine, she thought she could talk some sense into you-" she stopped to chuckle "the way you made her scream and fall to her knees, it was beautiful" that's it!' I pushed Poppy to the ground and she hit her head on the wall with a grown, "Shut Up!"
Before I knew it I ran out of the bathroom and to a living room in search for a front door but instead I found something that would have made me vomit if I hadn't before. There was a small table upfront of the couch, some bottles for alcoholic drinks and soda were scattered around the room and there was blood and body parts that looked like they all came from the same body. Organs were presented on the ground, fingers in some of the bottles, two legs nailed to the wall, and a head sat on the couch where one would normally sit.
Footsteps approached from behind me, "I see you've met my father~" the familiar voice I knew belonged to Poppy krepted over as I paniced. I ran for the one door I saw and pulled- pushed- you name it but it just wouldn't budge, "Silly girl~ I put glue in the lock. I can't let you leave."
My irritation levels grew. I reached for the closest thing to me 'a lamp and threw it to distract the blonde, running for the kitchen 'come on Lina- you've come to her house before! There was another door right? Yea...but what if it's glued shut too?' An arch in my breathing caused me to cough. I reached for a kitchen knife to protect myself then ran for somewhere to hid and make a plan. "Lina! You can't run forever I know all the hiding places here!" Shuffling from Poppy grew louder and I rushed to the second closest room, no way I was going to the closest room that's to obvious. I found myself locked in the laundry room as I heard items breaking outside the room and through the house. Searching the room, I found a door leading to a backyard and a window. Of course the door was glued but it wasn't like it mattered anyway because Poppy's backyard led to a forest and though I could lose her there I needed to find a police station of someone or anyone for help. So I went for the window.
Luckily the window wasn't glued up and it opened smoothly, but I had to act fast- Poppy had found out where I was and was banging on the door demanding I open up. Creeping out the window I looked around to see the front of the house with a street of course. Sprinting over I did my best to ignore the screaming from Poppy in the house. ' she probably broke the Door down and is behind me catching up!' I didn't look back to make sure though.
Tears began to stream down and once I reached the street I started crying for help. Poppy lived in a quite around of town, the houses were not cramped like most areas because she lived near a large forest like park that was forgotten long ago. The only houses that were near by were own by a small family and the other, an old couple. None the less I ran up to the closest house banging on the door "Help! Please I'm being cased!" The door swung open and a woman grabbed me pulling me in the house. She looked around 40 and was quite tall pushing me into the wall "alright young lady who are you, what are u yelling for?" She loosened her grip in pity realizing I was just a teenager and I looked quite cut up. "My friend- she trapped me in her house- A-and killed her farther...she is probably going to kill me now!" I suddenly stopped and looked over to see a pair of stairs with a little boy who looked no older then 9 years old, he held a toy truck in hand and tugged on the edge of his short sleeve polo shirt "mom what's wrong? Who's this?" My lip quivered as I looked down. 'My words must be scaring the boy... what if Poppy comes to this house looking for me? Will she kill them!?' The woman put her ash blond hair up in a ponytail and sighed. She let go of me and approached her son. "Don't worry Evan she's just a lost big kid. Now go upstairs as I help this young lady with direction okay?" A smile stretched on the boys face and he matched upstairs however his smile didn't look very genuine, more like it was just to show his understanding then to be a smile. Once he had left the woman turned to face me, "now why don't you tell me what's going on." She gestured to the kitchen for us to sit down but before entering she stopped me, "but first put that darn thing down." She pointed to my hand that gripped the kitchen knife I had forgotten I had, my hand gripped the handle so tightly I hadn't realized I had some blisters 'this must be why she pushed me into the wall...' "sorry I forgot I had this..." She looked at me with a curious expression and I handed her the knife as we both sat at the kitchen table, and I began to explain what happened.
