Creeping

Fading into the night, a black figure leaning back and forth in the ally way lifted it's hand to it's face. A single street light flickered at the figure's approach. Shimmering and bending light on it's egg shell mask. Black eye sockets lay aligned with the showed ears, the right eye was halfway covered with bangs that bobbed only on that side of his face, the other side being shaved.

He yawned but it wasn't visible, only lightly heard. The street light had a serser, in flickering rampage. Till it stopped, on the approval of a young woman around 22 under the still light.

She smoked a cigarette lightly as wind danced through her shoulder length chestnut hair. The woman wore a black dress, probably going to a late night drinking date, or she had just left.

The figure disappeared, no longer in the ally way with a swift scatter. A can fell from the trash, stealing the attention of the woman. She looked to the ally way intently. Everything went silent and a chill ran down her spine, like little needles pricked from neck to lower back, moving quickly but not fast enough to draw blood.

The figure drew near from behind the woman, it was mute in it's steps. Hands lifted to the woman's shoulders but barely brushed her skin.
She gasped, feeling the shadow's breath on her bare back, turning to be face to face with the last thing she will ever see.

She didn't even have time to scream. Something sharp pierced through the back dress that folded over her stomach. Her mouth gapped open and her eyes traveled down to the knife that blanketed itself in her warm rosy blood.

Things began to go blurry, she was to terrified to move. The street light began to cricket, flashing in that seaser manner from before, a light zapping sound when a fly would hit into the light and pop from over heating.

The flashing light stripped the black showdown of his mask's color, the black eye sockets simply a void for the chestnut girl to get lost in.

Finally, the figure pulled, not touching the woman. The knife slid out of her smoothly. And she coughed. Coughed up that rosy liquid from the deep abyss of her that and she fell to the ground on her side, with a snap in her arm.

Now she screamed, in pain and horror. The woman looked to the figure that just stood there, then turned on her stomach crying and gasping for air. She tried to drag herself out into the street. Desperate to get away, the woman cried out for help and crawled onto the blacktop of a road.

The shadowed man took only one step forward, the woman begged for him to go away, pleading to God to survive. She turned on her back sitting up with her arm around her waist to stop the bleeding, she had only gotten about 6 feet away and the figure stood right above her. The 22 year old went silent, preparing for him to stab her again, but instead he just lifted his mask to uncover a smile with sharp teeth, a strip of what looked like a clean scar on his left cheek, and a blindfold over his eyes. He grinned ear to ear, holding the mask behind him with his hands than stayed behind his back.

He shifted his black cloak causing the woman to flinch. She closed her eyes and held her breath. Tears ran like a waterfall down her face, soaked up by her dress. The man brought his free hand to her head, petting her hair lightly. She opening one eye half way, confused to the sudden action. But it was over by the time it started. He stood, back straight, then turned away from the woman. She thought she had gotten away Scot free but the moment he reached that street light, he turned his head to face her and smiled showing his fang white teeth, then extended his for arm pointing to the woman's right. She was confused then the street light stopped working and he was gone.

When the light snapped off, another sparkle of white and yellow shined from her ight, and she had realized what he was pointing at.

She turned her head to look, gasping at the sound of late car breaks, then with another snap, a crack, and the shatter of glass. She was tossed a few feet. Everything went blurry, the sounds of screams and voices were muffled.
She couldn't move and her eyes were trapped open.
Her eyes faced the the flickering light and some bushes behind she hadn't noticed before. The man stood 5'6 and finally, disappeared into the dark ess, everything going black to the woman.
