Safe again

Oogie deserved to die. He was nothing but a big pain and he had hurt someone he cared about.

He quickly turned towards Bella and rushed towards her, untying her as fast as possible.

When she was free, she had launched herself in his arms, burying her face in his neck. She was shaking like crazy.

"J-jack..." she was very frightened right now. She thought she would never see jack or sally again.

He was shocked at first since he never had a human hug him before. But it went away as he wrapped his arms around her, slowly running his fingers through her hair.

Hearing her cry broke his dead heart. He was so glad she was okay.

"Ssh Ssh it's alright child." He whispered into her ear, trying to comfort her.

They needed to get out of here. He couldn't stand being in this place another second.

"Jack! Grab on!" Barrel exclaimed as the trio lowered down a ladder.

Bella and jack looked at the trio and zero before looking at each other. "It's going to be okay. Hold on to me."

She wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, leaning on his back. Jack started to climb up the ladder. Once he got to the top, zero licked her face, helping her calm down a little bit. But she was still scared.

"Let's get out of here."

Sally paced back and forth as she rubbed her hands. She hoped jack and Bella were okay. She glanced out the window here and there. But then she heard zero barking.

The door swung open, jack and the trio rushing in. They closed the door as jack set Bella down on her feet. She was still shaking.

"Oh my gosh..." sally said as she walked towards her and pulled her in her arms, her own eyes watering. Bella held onto her but it wasn't for long, since sally pulled away to look at her.

Sally noticed the cuts and bruises on her skin, along with her ripped clothes and took her hands in hers.

"We need to clean you up." She said before leading her to the bathroom. Bella sat down on the toilet seat as sally got all the supplies she needed. They weren't deep but they still hurt.

After she cleaned them, she gave Bella new clothes to Change into. It consisted of a red nightgown that was just past her knees.

"

She hugged sally once again, tightly closing her eyes. "O-oh sally... I thought I was going to die... he kept scaring me to death. I thought I would never see you again. O-or jack or zero."

Sally hushed her softly as she smoothed her hair, kissing her cheek. "Even though she wasn't her mother, she still felt like one. She didn't care that she was human.

"Sweetie, I'm so glad you're alive. I thought I wouldn't see you again too... but you're here."

She pulled away and cupped her face in her hands.
"You're going to be okay." She said as jack walked into the bathroom, zero floating behind him.

Jack knelt down next to sally as zero gloated next to Bella, whining. It made him sad seeing her sad. It made them all sad.

Bella sniffled as she looked at zero, rubbing his head. She then looked at jack, her bottom lip quivering.

"Thank you for saving me jack..." she whispered as a tear fell down her cheek.

Jack pulled her into his arms, cradling her head. He rested his cheek on top of her head as sally rubbed her back. He needed to protect her. They both did. They didn't want anything else to happen to her.
