Dom's POV

After I got the spoons and the ice cream, I headed into the living room. I looked at the tv and I saw that Kat had put on "room". It really is the little things that matter. Kat and I have always been really sentimental, it's part of what makes us so close. Since forever, I've always been the person to notice little things about people. For instance, if one of my friends said they liked a certain tv series, I'd binge watch it all just because they liked it, and then I could talk about it with them. Or if they subtly said they liked a piece of jewelry or something, I'd remember and get it for them for their birthday. It's little things like that that I've always been the one to do or notice. I do it because it's really what I would want someone to do for me. I never thought I'd find someone who was like that too until I met Kat. The first time she was sentimental back towards me, I cried. Having someone who loves you the way you need to be loved is such an incredible feeling and it creates such a strong bond. It makes me feel like I could never live without Kat. It's like she's my other half. She's "the one" and I'm "the one" to her too.

Kat: "You coming?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and I realized I had been staring at Kat for a while without saying anything.

Dom: "Yeah sorry I got a bit lost in thought." *blushes*

Kat: "Oh? What were you thinking about?"

Dom: "Nothing."

Kat smirks as she notices Dom's blush, she decides to let it go for now

Kat: "Well are you gonna stand there forever or are you gonna cuddle me?"

Dom rushes over to the bed and hands Kat the ice cream tub and the spoons and then proceeds to climb onto the bed and under the blanket. She wraps her arm around Kat and pulls her into her lap so that Dom is leaning against the back of the couch and Kat is leaning against Dom's chest, with her head on Dom's shoulder, looking up at Dom. Dom has her Arms wrapped around Kat. The ice cream tub has been put aside for now

Kat: "I'm so glad you're here. You always make me feel better."

Dom: "I'm glad you're feeling better."

Dom kisses Kat's forehead and Kat blushes

Kat: "So, ice cream?"

Dom: "Hell yeah."
