My first Hardzello fanfic, enjoy.

"Please get home safely"
His voice is gruff, his eyes still groggy from only just waking up.
"I'll do my best"
Is my response, not wanting to promise anything. You never know what the future holds.
"Wait. Come back here first, Benny"
He orders, a smirk creeping onto his lips. He knows I hate that nickname.
"You're gonna wish I didn't"
I joke, making my way over to him, who's still laying in bed, only in his boxers.

It had been two years since we declared we were boyfriends. I've been waiting for him to ask me to move in with him for a while now. I don't think it's too early. After all, we have known each other since I was, like, 15. He was way too old for me back then, but age becomes less relevant once you get out of high school. I'm 28 now, and Joe's 35. A bit of an age difference, but I couldn't care less. It's not like he's using me, or the other way around. We are in love, and that's all that matters. That, and getting him back for that nickname.

I jump on the bed, careful not to hurt him, but very intentionally crushing him. He groans from the impact, then laughs shortly after.
"Stop! You're crushing me"
He manages to giggle out, but I don't move.
"Not so fast. I told you you wouldn't like it if I came over here. I'm proving my point"
I explained, a smile plastered across my face.
"Is that right?"
He questions, still gasping for air underneath me.
"Mhm"

I get up after a few moments with a smug grin on my lips, happy with myself and amused by Joe's reaction.
He grabs my shirt and pulls me into a kiss, our morning ritual. I smile into his lips and kiss back. I break away, not wanting the kiss to get too heated.
"I'm off"
I say, making my way to the front door.
"What do you say to a date? I could swing by at around 6. Ill take you to our spot?"
I ask, already knowing his response.
"I look forward to it"
He pauses for a moment, then continues,
"I love you"
I blush. I still get flustered every time he says it.
"I love you too"
