Author's Note:Well look at this Chapter 11. I've been procrastinating for a while, but I want to get this chapter out before school starts for me. So yeah, I hope this turns out good, and please comment, and vote, I really want to hear everyone's feedback, and feel free to message me with any ideas you have for the story. And beware I might split this chapter into 2 parts. End of note.
flashback
I'm sitting in Mr. Walker's class, waiting for the school day to end. I look over to my right, and see Raquel and Ashton sneaking glances over at each other. I smile, remembering what Raquel told me had happened between them 2 weeks ago. I knew this was coming.
I turn my attention back to Mr . Walker who begins to speak, "Attention class, I have some news that you all might be interested in." There is a slight mischievous tone in his voice, and a sly glint in his eyes, a look I have yet to have seen on his face. This makes me sit up straighter in my chair, giving him my focus. The same goes for the rest of the class.
He continues with the same edge to his tone as before, "Ok now that I have everyone's attention, I am happy to inform you that our class if going on a little..trip." I wonder what was up with that pause.
Haje asks, "Well where are we going?" Mr.Walker answers, "Well we're heading to the woods far away from the school, to test the skills you've learned, by camping." Everyone nods their heads, his reasoning does make sense, and what better way would there be to test our skills, but all of this seems so... I don't even have a word for it. But despite the bad feeling I have, I sign the consent form just like everyone else does.
End Flashback
And that is why I'm sitting in a coach bus with the rest of my classmates. I think the rest of the school is going on a field trip much like ours so our school if you can really call it that, is practically empty.
I'm sitting next to Finn, in the window seat, staring out the darkness lost in my own thoughts. Tyler, and Joey are in front of us, Raquel and Ashton are sitting across from us, Jasmine and Eric, are in front of them, and sadly Rose and Taylor are behind Finn and I.
If it weren't for the fact that the gang held close to each other and ditched Rose and Taylor when it was time to board the bus, Taylor would be snaking her fingers around Ashton, and Rose would be doing the same to Finn. But that doesn't stop them from constantly seeking their attention. What I would give to have a tazer right now.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when a hand touches my shoulder, I see a reflection of Finn in the glass, so I turn around to face him. He asks titling his head slightly with worry, "What's wrong?" I say quietly, "There's nothing wrong, I'm just thinking." He pulls me closer toward him, and whispers curiously, "About what?"
I think for moment about what I should say, if I simply said it was nothing then he wouldn't believe me, and would continue to pester me, so I decide to say something that would bring up a new topic, "I'm just wondering how I'm going to prevent myself from strangling Haje if he tries something, or says something smart." I allow a small smirk to make its way onto my face.
A similar smirk makes its way onto Finn's face, he leans in close and whispers, "If and when you do, just make sure I get in a few hits." I laugh, and nod my head. He throws his arm around my shoulder, trying not to make it seem like a big deal, I smile softly and lean into him. He pulls me closer, and I listen to his quick heartbeat, while continuing to stare out the window. Finn absentmindedly begins stroking my hair, it's actually kind of comforting.
A few minutes pass and I tear my gaze away from the window, to look up at Tori who stands at the front of the bus, looking stern and slightly grim. She speaks, her voice loud and clear, "Ok everyone we'll be arriving to our destination soon. Even though this is a trip, you should take this seriously. That's all." Then she takes her seat back down right next to Daniel and they begin go back to discussing something.
Her tone got slightly darker when she told us to take this seriously, I shift in my seat, not liking the change in her tone, Finn whipsers, "Don't worry you'll do great, it's just like a test." He says this confidently, I stare at him, he sounds so sure, I just nod my head and say,"Yeah just like a test."
But that doesn't help to reassure me the last time I heard the words it's just a test, I had to drink some serum that made up some twisted allusion in my head, then waking up to get injected with some drug to make me fall asleep, only to wake up again in some place called the Bureau. So yeah I hate "tests" even more than before, I came here.
Everything is quiet, well if you exclude the constant chatter. Then a loud screech pierces my ears, the bus swerves, making me sit up straighter in fear.
Next thing I know there is a small boom, red sparks fly past the window next to Ashton, and the bus suffers a violent push, and is nearly knocked over on it's side, also proceeding to knock out the lights. My head hits the window next to me making my head throb.
Everyone is being throw around from the impact, and we all hit the ground with a loud thud. I hear a series of panicked voices, which immediately turn into shrieks when bullets whiz over our heads, preventing us from trying to stand up. Glass from the window falls gently onto my hands which cover my head.
Silence then follows, but not for long three people walk into bus, dressed in all black, even sporting black masks to cover their faces. And the lack of light in here certainly isn't helping me get a good look at them.
A bunch of hushed whispers, and murmurs surround me, but the person in front who seems to be leading everything, silences us with a sharp and quick shut it. I learn he is a male at the sound of his voice. He also fires the gun he holds in his right hand a few times leaving bullet holes in the ceiling. Silence fills the air.
He says, in a cold and victorious voice, "That's much better, well it's time for you all to take a nice long nap." I can practically hear the smirk in his tone.
He turns to the person at his left, and they take something out of their pocket, and waste no time throwing it in the middle of the bus, right at the ground. White gas explodes from the little grey ball he or she threw, spreading throughout the bus in mere seconds.
My eyes begin to grow heavy, and my muscles gradually relax. And everything is dark and quiet.
Dun dun duuuuuunnnn. Yeah I told you guys beware, major cliffhanger, I was going to make everything one chapter, but I decided to throw in some suspense, I wonder if that makes me evil. Oh well. Los siento, not! Lol hope you enjoyed, please leave feedback, and vote.
