Continuation of Chapter 11. Enjoy!

I begin to shift around, waking up from the slumber I was forced into. My head bobs back and forth for a few moments, I open my eyes, my vision blurred. I continue to blink until it clears, when it does I proceed to lift my slightly aching head up, to look around.

The last thing I remember is being on the bus, a loud screech, a few bangs and gas. I finally manage to get my head upright, and when I see what's in front of me, everything begins to piece itself together. Someone attacked our bus, and gassed us. But why?

I mean we were literally out in the middle of nowhere! Standing right in front of me is a some man, and...Tori. What the heck is going on?

The man seems to be over a little six feet tall, has caramel skin, a black curly afro, and medium brown eyes. He smiles at me, while Tori stands there completely stoic.

The man steps forward, kneeling down so we're eye level, and examines me. I look down and take into account that I'm sitting in a wooden chair, and my legs and arms are bound to it by thin back wire. I shift my wrists around but this stuff it wrapped around tight.

The man speaks his voice pleasant, "Hello there. My name is Gabriel. What's yours?" For a moment I'm about to just flat out tell him, but I remember everything that has happened so far, and I grow wary of him. But then I notice Tori eying me, and if I do lie to Gabriel, then she'll just tell him. So I look him in the eye and say, "Alex."

He nods and says,"It fits you." Then he asks standing up and turning his back to me facing a wooden table with a tray on it, "Are you hungry, thirsty?" I shake my head declining the offer, and turn to stare at Tori, as if, if I read her expression close enough I'll somehow figure out what's going on.

Gabriel studies me, and asks titling his head, "You wanna know why your here?" I nod, and think, 'Of course I want to know why I'm here, and while your at it, you can tell me where my friends are!'

He speaks slowly pacing in front of me, "Well the thing is the wonderful Tori here", he gestures towards her a big smile on his lips,"Has been helping my coworkers and I to get something we need."

I think to myself, 'Great job at explaining everything ding bat.' And as much as I wanted to say that, I choose to say, "What is it that you need?"

Gabriel smirks, "You and your classmates of course." I look at him questioningly,  and he says, "Tori here works for our little operation, and she's been working hard to get a spot in the Youth Prime program your in. Now your wondering what for. Well Youth Prime is a program filled with teenagers and that's exactly what we need, young teens."

I'm seriously not liking where this is going. Then Gabriel leans in so our faces are 6 inches apart, "Are you familiar with the slave trade?" I'm slowly realizing what's going on here, and I straighten in my chair, narrowing my eyes, a scowl evident on my face.

He says with a hint of humor in tone, "I guess I'll take that as a yes." He pauses probably expecting me to respond, but I don't. So he continues, "Your a smart girl, I bet you can see where all of this is going." I gulp, yes I do and I'm beginning to grow more and more worried.

I nod when he glances at me. He looks me over, smirks and says, "You should fit in perfectly." He reaches his hand out toward me, I turn my head away making my disgust evident. He pulls his hand back, and next thing I know a flash off brown whizzes past my face, and a sting spreads throughout my cheek.

The force pushes my head to the right, and I grit my teeth together, trying not to focus on the stinging, and just how grim this situation looks.

Gabriel glares down at me, grabbing me by my chin, wrenching me closer to him and says, "You better get used to this, cause your going to be getting a lot of this. Nice and young, oh I'm going to squeeze every last possible dollar out of you." He chuckles, and adds in, "And you little friends too." I growl at him, and he simply laughs.
