"Ya 15 minutes, stuck in traffic", Shubh texted me. The four of us had planned a trip to Lonavala. Darshan and Priti were already here but Shubh took too long to come. "15 minutes guys", I said in annoyance and shoved my phone in my pocket. "Oh God!", Darshan and Priti said in unison. "We have many a times cancelled our trips but this time no matter what, we are going on this trip and that's final", Priti snapped. "Ya cool down. He's saying that he'll come, he's stuck in traffic", I explained.
I opened my Whatsapp and was about to send a message to Shubh when I received his message which read 'Come down, I'm here'. "Guys he's here, let's go, he's calling us downstairs ", I said and got up from the chair I sat on.

"I'll drive", Darshan said and moved his hand forward asking Shubh for the keys. "Okay", Shubh said and handed the keys to Darshan. Shubh sat on the passenger's seat, Priti on the one behind him and I sat behind Darshan's. I was very excited because this trip was the one which I have been planning for two years but each time I offered it, it used to get cancelled because one or the other would have some extremely important work which had to be done in those three days of our trip only and he or she used to back out and I used to cancel the plan as I wanted the four of us to go together and if anyone backs out, the whole trip is senseless but none understood the main reason for me cancelling the trip- which I desperately wanted to happen- and everyone blamed me that I cancelled the trip else the remaining three would have gone and enjoyed. But now, it was the time when finally it was happening.
I looked out of the window. The sky was light blue in colour with white clouds like patches attached to a cloth, and was lit up by the bright sun. The trees seemed to move in the opposite direction while the sun ran with us. I stared at the different shaped clouds when, for some time, I started loving nature to another level. It is so good that God has gifted us such a beautiful nature. The trees which are our lifeline and a home to many animals, where a mother bird feeds her babies. When she leaves her nest, she thinks that her babies are safe in their nest and when she'll come back, they'll be happily playing, and what are we giving her? A surprise! When she comes back, she finds that not only the nest, but the entire tree is gone. It has been cut because it was on a piece of land where now a building has to be construed. Why do we do this? Although development is a good thing and it should take place but between all these things, why are we destroying nature? How can we forget that with every tree that has been cut, not only a bird's home but our source of life is also gone. "Aaruhi", Darshan called out, dragging me out of my thoughts and making me jerk.(Thank you so much for the love guys. Last Few Days is on fifth rank in #spreadlove. Keep loving and
