i think spencer caught me staring because he asked, "do you want to go see that guy?"

"we can stay here a minute, i know you're into this one," i answered, not taking my gaze away from the ultimately hot dancer.

the boy spencer liked came closer and gave him a piece of paper, along with a suggestive wink. spencer rapidly opened the note and gasped quietly. he showed it to me and i read it in disbelief.

meet me in room 2A in 10. -jon

it looks like jon was waiting for the right moment and the right guy to give that note away to; and spencer was undoubtedly the right guy.

"go see your man, i'm going to spend some time with mine," spencer whispered, me surprisingly hearing him over the loud music that was playing simultaneously.

"okay, fine."

i walked towards the dancer as he caught sight of me. he jumped off the stage (it only being about three feet high) and approached me with only some kind of weird stripper briefs on.

"hey, hot stuff," he said with a smile. "what's your name?"

"uh, um, ryan."

"nice to meet you, ryan." he held his hand out to initiate a handshake and i shook his hand in disbelief. "i'm brendon. just thought i'd let you know. here, can i have your number?"

"sure," i answered way too quickly. i hope i didn't come off as desperate.

"let me grab a post it note from pete, he has them with him constantly to be prepared for 'cases of emergency.' don't ask why or when he would need them in an urgent situation, no one knows."

i laughed briefly as brendon walked over to the same bartender that guy mikey was falling head over heels for. i also caught myself intensely checking him out; he had one of the most toned and attractive bodies i'd ever seen. it just made it even more difficult to look away because of the skimpy outfit he was attired in. i really hope that doesn't make me sound like some creepy old pervy man. i just think he looks hot, okay?

brendon came back with a blue post-it note and a pen.

"will you write down your snapchat, too? i don't want to sound pushy and uncomforting, but you seem like a good time."

"s-sure."

i write it down quickly, but not sloppily because i wanted him to text me.

"i have a fifteen minute break, wanna hang out at the bar?" he offered.

"sounds like a plan. i was actually talking to that guy mikey over at the bar several minutes ago who has it bad for the bartender."

"gerard's brother? yeah, i can just tell by the way he looks at pete while ordering a drink that he'd fuck the guy silly, or vice versa, without hesitation. i don't know much about pete's personality or submissive and dominant preferences to make judgements just yet."

"i guess. so, how long have you been working here?"

"about a year. i was actually going to school for accounting, but i realized i hate math."

"seriously?"

"no, i'm just kidding. not about the math part, though. too hard for me to focus. anyways, truth be told, i was not an obedient teenager. i'd sneak out, skip family events and church and go to the bar with a fake id instead, blame my cigs that i hid in my brother's room on him, etc. i don't smoke anymore, though. don't want any precancerous tissue up in my lungs!"

"i could say i was remotely similar to you in your teenage years. my mom was a chaotic catholic and preached to me every chance she could get about how wrong and immoral homosexuality was after i came out to her. she ended up kicking me out before i finished high school because she couldn't take looking at my gay ass every day, i guess."

"her loss. i'd love to look at your ass every day."

"not gonna lie, that was kinda smooth."

"thank you."

we walked over to the bar and sat down, mikey and pete both nowhere to be found. instead, he was supposedly replaced by a blonde girl with a name tag reading, "lynn."

"you know what i like, lynn, make it extra sweet," brendon ordered.

"peach and lime daiquiri coming up."

"hey," i started, "peach and like daiquiris are my favorite, too."

"lit."

"i can't believe you just said that."

"believe it."
