marla's pov
IT WAS AN AWKWARD DINNER honestly, both my parents and Sabrina's aunts knew what had happened at school today and though they acted normally everyone could feel the awkwardness that hung in the air.
While everyone else talked me and Sabrina ate in silence and Ambrose he just stared down at his place picking at his food, he seemed quite depressed and didn't even try to hide it. As much as i loathed him for the way he hurt my brother he was also my friend and it really hurt to see him like this.
I sent Sabrina a help me look and she excused me, her and Ambrose from the dinner table. We took our plates to the kitchen Ambrose had hardly eaten anything. We went upstairs to Sabrina's room and sat in silence waiting for someone to say something.
" soo how did your talk with Alexander go " i said breaking the silence.
" he told me he can't be around me right now and to stay away from him " he said his voice breaking as he stood up retreating to his own.
I stood up to go after him but Sabrina called me back.
" leave him he needs this time alone Hilda hasn't left him alone since he's come back " she said sighing.
I expressed my worry for both of them telling her about Alexander's crying and everything he'd told me happened when ambrose had brought him here to talk. She pulled me into a hug as tears threatened to fall from my eyes rubbing my back telling me it would work itself out. I believed her as no matter what happened they loved each other an could work through this, it was just better to give them time.
I just hoped that would be soon.
