Chapter 4|| Absent

It's the first day back to school after winter break. It was finally time for the history; I never thought I would be looking forward to go to class. I rushed to class; for the first time I wanted to be early. But before I entered class I couldn't help but to be nervous. My plan was to ask Ji-Hyun if she could meet me at the school garden after school. But what if she didn't even agree to meet me there what would i do then? I then felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Jungkook.

"Are you not going in? Is everything okay Hyung?", he asked concerned.

I shook my head and smiled," No everything is okay kookie".

We then both entered the classroom. I looked over to Ji-Hyun's seat but I didn't see her. That's weird she's always the first to be in class. Why isn't she here? I then just go and take a seat maybe she's late this one day.

Ji-Hyun never showed up to class that day or for the next 3 days. What could have happened that made her be absent for 4 days. She was never absent last semester.

"What if something bad happened to her"?

Jin put his hand on my shoulder, "Don't worry Jimin. She probably went out of town during the break and hasn't come back yet".

He's right. Maybe I'm just overthinking things.

Namjoon then shook his head, "No I'm sure she wouldn't miss a single day of school knowing her".

"How do you know that", I asked.

"I know this because she's ranked number 2. Jungkook never misses a day because he says he'll get behind. I'm sure it's the same for her", Namjoon explained.

Jungkook was ranked number 1 in the entire school. While Ji-Hyung is ranked number 2 because of this everyone says Ji-Hyun hates Jungkook.

Hoseok then tells Namjoon, "You're not making this any better Namjoon".

"It's fine Hyung. Anyways where's Jungkook", I asked.

"He's with Yu-an", Taehyung responded.

It was Friday and it was time for history once again. Taehyung already told me during lunch that Ji-Hyun wasn't in class during first period. But I couldn't help but to hope she would still be here. But of course when I entered she wasn't at her seat. I really have the worst luck. I guess this is a sign I should never confess to her.

Class had just started and the teacher walked up to the front of the class.

"Class I have an announcement, which has to do with your fellow classmates Ji-Hyun".

What do you think the announcement is? Anyways my winter break is about to end. I don't want to go back to school. Hopefully I'll still be able to post constantly once I'm in school.
