Chaper 7|| Intentions

The plan was that Jisoo would help Ji-Hyun with her first 4 periods. Then after lunch it would be my turn. Both Jisoo's and My schedules were rearranged so it would match up to Ji-Hyun's schedule .

It was currently lunch time and I walked up to the table where Ji-Hyun and Jisoo were sitting at. When I got in front of the table I got so nervous that I couldn't even speak. I forgot everything I planned on saying.

But thankfully Jisoo helped me out, " Ji-Hyun Jimin is here".

Ji-Hyun looked up; but not quite at my direction. She said hi to me and my heart skipped a beat again. I always get this weird feeling when I heard Ji-Hyun say my name. It felt so nice to know she knew my name and who I was.

I then asked shyly, "May I talk to you Ji-Hyun"?

I could tell that she were unsure. But Jisoo quickly answered for her with a yes. Then next thing you know we were walking around campus together . I led her to some benches; so we could sit.

Ji-Hyun then asked me, "What did you want to tell me"?

"I wanted to get to know you. Since we're going to send a lot of time together", I responded.

"Why did you volunteer to help me? We've never talked before. Are you perhaps doing this so it looks good on your college application"?

I shock my head, "No. I just thought this would be a good chance to become friends with you".

She then scoffed, "I don't need anymore friends. I'm happy with just having Jisoo. I know she'll always be there for me and that's all I need".

I knew she was taking about what happened this morning with Yu-Jin.

"I saw what happened this morning; with Yu-Jin and you". I saw her eyes widen, "I'm not like her and I don't have bad intentions like her".

Right in that instance the bell ringed. Telling us that our next class was starting soon.

Ji-Hyun then stood up and asked me to take her to class.

I truly hope that one day Ji-Hyun would trust me enough to see me as a friend. As well as believe me when I say I don't have any bad intentions.
