It was Monday and I was walking to the cafeteria. The cafeteria is where we all hang out. While I was on my way there I saw Ji-Hyun walking with another girl. I started to walk towards her to help her out. But I stopped when I heard their conversation.

The girl said, "I'll be going now Ji-Hyun". With that, she started to walk away.

But stopped when Ji-Hyun spoke, "Wait can you take me to the cafeteria real quick? Jisoo is waiting for me there".

When the girl turned around I was able to see who she was. Her name was Yu-Jin.

I then saw her smirk, "Can't you go by yourself? Oh wait, I forgot you can't see any more".

Wait I'm confused. Isn't she suppose to be Ji-Hyun's friend.

I was about to go up to them. But I stopped when I heard Ji-Hyun speak.

"What are you doing Yu-Jin"?

Yu-Jin then walked over to Ji-Hyun and said, "Nothing. Sorry, I can't take you to the cafeteria. Why don't you go by yourself?"

"You know that I can't do that".

She then smirked again and crossed her arms, "Well sorry I don't want to be seen with a blind girl".

That's it. I was about to give her a peace of my mind. But I stopped when I heard Ji-Hyun speak once again.

"Fine. But before you leave just answer me one thing".

Yu-Jin sighs, "What"?

Ji-Hyun then asks, "You were the one that spread the rumors about me freshman year. Weren't you"?

Yu-Jin eyes widened, "What are you talking about"?

"You know Jisoo always warned me about you. She always told me how you were the one that spread the rumors. But I never wanted to believe her because even though I had a feeling it was true. I knew about how much pressure you had on your family to be popular and to follow your sister's footsteps".

Yu-Jin yells, "Oh stop acting so nice and making me seem like the bad person. I was friends with you when nobody else wanted to".

Ji-Hyun sighs, "I'm not dumb Yu-Jin. If you were really my friend why would you spread rumors of me thinking I was better than everyone else when you knew that wasn't true"?

Yu-Jin stayed silent.

Ji-Hyun continued, "You can stop pretending to be my friend".

Yu-Jin just says, "Fine" and walks away. Leaving Ji-Hyun all alone.

Even though I didn't know the full story I was able to understand why everyone talked so much about Ji-Hyun. Yu-Jin was spreading rumors of Ji-Hyun to make everyone hate her.

————————————-

Ji-Hyun then walked up to the cafeteria. When she got there I opened the door for her.

"Thank you", she said.

"You're welcome".

I'm sure she didn't recognize my voice.

When we entered the cafeteria Ji-Hyun just stood still, not knowing where to go. I could tell that she was looking for Jisoo. I then told someone to go call Jisoo.

———————————

Jisoo walked over to us. She looked over to me and said thank you. I then shocked my head and whispered to her, "Can you please not tell her that I was the one helping her? I don't want her to know it was me".

Jisoo then responded by nodding her head.

They then walked away and I could hear Ji-Hyun asking Jisoo who she said thank you to. I couldn't help but smile.

Just wait a little longer Ji-Hyun. There was only a little bit time left before we would meet once again.

A/N
I feel like this chapter is all over the place. This chapter was pretty hard for me to write. Also hopefully I didn't make it cringe when Ji-Hyun was roasting Yu-Jin. Sometimes those scenes can be cringe for me so hopefully it wasn't too cringe. Anyways thank you for reading my book bye.

Ps:
Also please go stream, "Say My Name" by Ateez and their album. You won't regret I promise.

Psss: So I rewrote this chapter because it was so cringe. I hope it's better now.

 I hope it's better now
