I always thought that tragedies sometimes don't just bring sadness or depression. But that sometimes it can bring joy or new opportunities. Am I crazy for thinking this?

School had ended, but instead of going home Ji-Hyun and I had to stay at school. There was a meeting we both had to attend since we were class Presidents. The meeting was made to talk about the upcoming school dance. The theme ended up being fairy tales.
During the planning I was asked to perform. I was known for being a good dancer.
"I forgot that you knew how to dance".
"Yeah. I've been doing it for a while now", I responded.
I then asked, "Ji-Hyun would you like to see me dance"?
Ji-Hyun then laughed, "I would love too but, I can't really see anything".
Right after that I couldn't help but to feel guilty for what I had just said.
"I'm sorry. I'm so dumb", I said.
Ji-Hyun shock her head, "It's fine. But I would still like to see you dance. Even though technically I can't".
Jimin couldn't help but, to smile. Knowing that Ji-Hyun wanted to see him dance.

While I was dropping Ji-Hyun home I asked her, "So, do you know who'll you'll be going to the dance with"?
"Not really. I'm not sure if I'll be going".
"You have to go Ji-Hyun. I mean you are helping with the planning. You should go so you can see the results of all the hard work you put into the dance".
I then added, "Plus if you don't have anyone to go with... you can always go with me".
I don't know what got into me to say this. Ji-Hyun must think that I'm really weird. Their is not way she'll want to go with me.
Ji-Hyun laughed and said, "Sure".
My heart stopped. Did Ji-Hyun just say yes to me. The feelings I was feeling couldn't be described with the word happiness but, instead euphoric.

A/N I've been quite busy lately so, I don't know how much time to write. Also next year I'm going to be SO busy. Anyways I'm currently reading The Raven Boys and it's really good 5/5. Lastly, I hope you enjoyed this book and see you soon.
Btw I started reading the second book of the raven cycle and I like the first one more.
