Momo's face turned from happiness to horror as she back away from the door. I grabbed he sleeve of her shirt and dragged her into the apartment. Before she could escape back out the door, I closed it, locked it, and held a knife to her throat.
"You're here to see Todoroki, aren't you? And I've heard all about you, Creati. Toga's a big fan. She'll be so," I paused, searching for the right word, "envious when I tell her that met you. I mean, she's your biggest fan."
Momo struggled, attempting to escape, but I held the knife closer to her throat, drawing a drop of cherry red blood, glistening like a ruby. Momo, despite being taller and more powerful than poor, quirkless me, was completely under my power. I laughed lightly, and prepared to plunge the knife deeper into her throat. I had decided to let my anger get the best of me, and my anger didn't think she deserved to live.
"I heard the sounds of a fight, what--Deku! Let go of Momo!"
Todoroki entered the room, wearing nothing but a bath towel around his waist. He looked at Momo, then at me. "Let her go, Deku!" he demanded.
I smiled, not moving my knife an inch. "Says the man in the bath towel."
Todoroki crossed his arms across his bare chest, and, one must admit, he was actually very good looking. "Put...her...down." he said, exaggerating each word.
"Or what, Todoroki? Or what?"
Todoroki smirked. "Or she'll kick your ass, Deku. She might seem powerless now, but she's got something up her sleeve, I guarantee it. So put her down, and I might be able to contain her."
I rolled my eyes, dropping my arm to my side. I doubted that she could defeat me, but being on Todoroki's good side might help. Momo collapsed on the ground, clutching the wound on her neck. She glared at me with intensity, obviously meaning to intimidate me. Pathetic. All I saw was a little girl, a girl so incompetent that she was almost killed by me, a quirkless boy.
Momo struggled to her feet, and backed away from me toward Todoroki. "What is he doing here!" she yelled at Todoroki, pointing at me. "I knew you were dumb and reckless, but having an S rated villain in your house is beyond anything I've seen. I should have guessed that something was amiss, though," she began to mutter to herself, "what with the crime scene going on outside, the murder."
"Oh yes, that was my fault!" I smiled. "It was quite fun actually."
Todoroki glared at me, then turned his attention to Momo. "I have him here for a reason, Momo. No matter how reckless I am, I always have a reason."
"Yes, but what exactly is your reason." Momo said, exasperated.
"I believe that I can help him."
News to me. I almost laughed out loud. He thought he could help me? Thought he could change me? Thought he could turn me into one of the 'heroes,' helping the poor citizens and stopping the villains at every turn. Amusing, that he thought that he could change me, after what he did to me, after what Kacchan did to me, after what All Might did to me? He was out of luck. I'm me, Deku, a villain, a killer, and he can fucking try to change that.
Momo was, apparently, having the same thoughts. "You really think that will work? He just held a knife to my throat, and just killed a man outside! He doesn't even show a single trace of remorse for what he did, Todoroki! At least sane people show some remorse. He's a psychopath, Todo, you can't change him."
"I have a reason to believe that I can help him. Also, I feel like I just need to try." Todoroki said. "Why don't you sit down, Momo? We can talk in a bit."
Momo looked at Todoroki incredulously. "With him? Excuse me, Todo, but I'm not staying in the same room as Deku. I'm afraid that we'll kill each other."
Todoroki gave her a reassuring smile. "The he'll come with me. I can lock him in the bedroom."
"And if he gets out?"
Todoroki shrugged. "You can take him. You're strong enough."
I exhaled, crossing my arms, annoyed. "I am here, you know. And, yeah, I'll go with Todoroki-kun."
Todoroki nodded. "Momo, make yourself at home. We'll be back in a few minutes."
Momo rolled her eyes. "I love how you just include the villain in the conversation like it's no big deal, Todo."
I tapped my foot impatiently. I was done with this. I had to get out of here and get the supplies I needed, not have a cup of tea with Todoroki's buddy. "Let's just go already. We have things to talk about, obviously, and Todoroki-kun can't talk if he's not even dressed!"
"Fair point." Todoroki said. "We'll talk later, Momo. Be right back."
He walked out of the room and into the hallway. I followed, but I shot one last smile at Momo. "I'm really sorry, Momo. I hope we can be friends cause I need friends. I would be sad if you weren't my friend."
Momo glowered at me. "Not in a million years, pipsqueak."
I love momo...
