As the sun made it's grand appearance in the skies, the Manimi granted their visitors horses. Helga had made the decision to reside with the Manimi and care for the wounded.

Tóra embraced her grandmother for the last time.

"Pú gerir mig stoltan, Tóra. Ég elska pig." Helga cried.

"Ég elska pig líka, Amma!" the young woman sobbed on her grandmother's shoulder.

Briseida cradled her daughter.

"Sh, pad verdur allt í lagi." she hushed her daughter.

After the family said their farewells, they rode off into the unknown.

Jordanes gazed at Tóra, but she dared not to stare back at him.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yes. Why do you ask?" she demanded.

"You just seem distressed." Tóra turned to gaze into his willowed eyes.

"Thank you for your concern."
