Daniel. Daniel is, different. He was special. We went to the back to school dance... together. Danced... together. And then he asked me to be his girlfriend.
I want to tell Gwen, but I can't... She is in severe condition, she might not wake up, she might be brain dead. I miss her too much for words to describe. I really want to see her talk to me. I want to see her smile, see her dance. She was always so talented when it came to dancing.
"Should we kiss?" I ask Daniel.
Suddenly, he leans in and kisses me, it was just a split second and I honestly felt nothing. Noah gets up and storms off. I feel curious so I get up and follow after him.
"What are you doing?!" I shout, we are outside
"Getting away from you!" he replies.
"Why? What is up with you lately?!"
"You! Why are you?!" He says but he cuts off.
"Why am I what?!" I shout
He turns around stomping towards me. I never noticed how his eyes glimmer. How he gives me a warm feeling.
"You are, Melanie. Beautiful, amazing, talented, perfect, and I can't watch you be with anyone else knowing that I-" he stops.
I look down. I know now that my heart races for Noah. I need him, I want him, I love him.
He lifts my head up and kisses me. I know it's right because, I feel sparks.
