I dreamed about marrying her, loving her, living with her. But then she spoke those words that I absolutely dreaded.
"Who are you?!" She shouts.
I've been told that if she were to wake up, due to her massive head damage she would lose memories causing frustration giving her mood swings. But I never thought it would be so bad that she would forget me. I had my disbeliefs on her damage, especially her head damage. As I stand here, shocked in wonder, I keep pinching myself cause I know I'm dreaming
"I'm Noah," I say. Falling into her deep eyes all over again. I can't hold it in any longer. I lean in and kiss her. She pulls back.
"I don't even know who you are and you try to kiss me?!"
"Well, I thought it would help you remember."
"That's not how it works. That's scientifically impossible."
I smile, she smiles back.
I will miss her.
