The snake that loved the wolf(Cobra/Erik X OC Fanfiction)

Ch4: Reunion

Iwaki's pov

I woke up to the sun streaming down on my fur, warming it up. I sat up and yawned before stretching. I looked next to me to see Erik sleeping since he let's me sleep next to him as I'm used to sleeping next to others.

I stumbled over to the bushes that surrounded the clear g we were in, stretching out my back legs as I walked. I crawled through a small gap in the brambles, the sharp thorns scrapping my skin slightly.

Once out of the bushes, I started searching for any prey smells. I caught the scent of a rabbit and pricked my ears. I heard the sound of pawsteos and followed the scent, making sure I wasn't heard.

When the rabbit was in sight, I lowered myself to the ground before leaping at it and killing it. However, the moment my Jaws sunk into the rabbit's neck, I heard a twig snap. I lifted my head, ears pricked as I looked around.

I looked over at a clump of ferns and the moment I turned away from it, I was tackled by something. I twisted my head to look at my attacker to see brown fur. I dug my teeth into my attackers shoulder as they let out a howl of pain. "A wolf. They must be a rogue' I thought before being scraped on the forehead.

Blood trickled into my eyes, stopping me from seeing anything as I stumbled down next to the bramble thicket that surrounded the clearing. I shook my head in an attempt to clear the blood from my eyes but it only made things worse.

Just as I stopped shaking my head, I was tackled again and both of us tumbled into the clearing. The sound of our fight must have woke the others because I picked up someone's voice saying "What's going on?"

I scrambled out of my attackers grip and attempted to pin them but I didn't make contact and only stumbled onto the ground. I was but in the shoulder, feeling the teeth dig deep into my shoulder.

I squirmed and kicked, managing to knock them off balance as they fell on top of me. I rolle don't my back and kicked them off as I heard them get up. I stood, ready to attack when the wolf in front of me asked "Iwaki?"

I recognised that voice and ran over to the small pond to clean the blood out of my eyes. Once I had the blood out of my eyes, I looked up and instantly felt a bust of happiness. "Kiyota" I cheered, running over to him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, wagging my tail. "The pack was really boring without you so I left to come find you" Kiyota replied. I looked at his muzzle to see the red stripe which didn't look out of place in his brown fur.

I changed to my human form as Kiyota did the same and I hugged him as he pat my back, his tail wagging. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw what looked like an angry look on Erik's face which was directed towards Kiyota. I was confused at this but shrugged it off,its not like I can read his mind.

After our hug, Kiyota asked Jellal if he could join crime Sorciere and he agreed, giving Kiyota the mark in yellow in his right shoulder as I gave him another hug.
