Shane turns back to catch up to Ryan, who has moved up quite a bit. He bumps right into a chest. "Ryan? Did you just magically, grow like, five feet?" Shane says and looks up. Turns out Ryan did not grow five feet. The buff ghost was back and his eyes were filled with loathing and murder. "Ryan?" Shane feels an emotion he hadn't felt in a long time: Fear. Since ghosts are see-through, Shane saw Ryan further into the hallway.

"Yeah Shane?" Ryan says and looks back. He immediately drops the equipment, making it sound like he broke something. His expression turns to fear, an expression Shane had made fun of him for. Shane can see Ryan shaking from where he is, trapped in front of this buff ghost. But Shane can feel a powerful aura coming from him. The ghost smiles evilly.

"I finally found you, you fucker." The ghost says in a raspy, yet familiar voice. Shane swallows and moves back a bit. "You know, it took me 32 years to find your ass. Who told you pathetic excuse of a demon to leave?" Shane is glad Ryan is out of earshot. He doesn't want an asshole of a ghost to blow his cover, not after all this time.

"Ryan! Stay back! Stay where you are!" Ryan is shaking so much, Shane doesn't think he heard what he had said until Ryan nods and stays where he is.

"You're even more pathetic than what I remember. Protecting a human? Really? Disappointing Shane, really. I bet you even developed feelings for them. These disgusting creatures. They should all burn in hell." The probably-not-ghost spits out in hatred.

"I don't know who you are, but you better damn well leave. I'm not going back to that place." Shane replies, taking another step back. The ghost, with the speed of light, slaps him across the face. He hears Ryan make a noise from his throat, but Shane can't comprehend what he said. He remembers who this bitch is. "Annan. What the fuck are you doing here?"

Annan laughs. "Oh, so you finally remember who I am? Took you long enough." He then punches Shane in the stomach.

"Shane!" Ryan screams as Shane gets the wind knocked out of him and crumples to the ground.

"I've gotten a lot stronger than the last time this happened darling."

Annon proceeds to kick Shane in the neck, but not enough to break it(even though Shane can take more than a kick to the throat). Shane is knocked to the floor, (As he was on his knees before) out of breath and coughing. His vision starts to get hazy but Annon doesn't give him a chance to get up or fight back. Annon keeps kicking him. In his back, his stomach, his face, his arms, his legs and his head. When he's finished kicking Shane, he starts to punch. Now, demon punches and kicks aren't like human ones. They're filled with energy that they use to torture bad souls. You can guess that it isn't good energy. Imagine this, you're lying on the ground, perfectly still. See it? Okay, now imagine a car falls on top of you, but it's filled with cement and the wheels are actually saw blades. Yeah, that's a demon kick. A demon punch however, is like that, except the car is a truck filled with cement and 100 pound weights. Oh, and the wheels are saw blades but that are moving. Now you can imagine what Shane is going through, even though he is a demon and he has a bigger tolerance for it.

By this point Shane is bleeding and coughing up blood, which isn't really fun. "Shut your human up Shane, he's crying." Shane slowly looks to where Ryan is and the sight breaks his heart.

Ryan's on his knees looking at a beat up Shane, bloody and eyes half closed from the pain. Every time Shane breaths Ryan flinches, since it sounds more like wheezes than actual breathing, but it isn't the wheezing that makes Ryan's heart skip every time he hears it; it's a wheeze that sounds painful and worse than the last. Ryan doesn't know why ghost is targeting Shane, all he knows is that ghosts can't touch people. Is it a strong ghost? Or something more? Demons aren't supposed to infest this place. He should know, he looked this place up for hours. He's crying, because his best friend is being beat up by a supernatural creature and Ryan can't do anything to help him. All he can do is watch and hope that the ghost'll leave soon, or run out of energy.

Ryan now has tears streaming down his face, eyes red and mouth set in a shaky frown. He looks terrified and Shane feels so guilty. He shouldn't let Ryan see this, but it's too late to make him forget, or get knocked out. Shane tries to smile but it probably looks like he's grimacing in pain, which probably isn't helping. Shane then gets pulled to his feet by his collar. "You are pathetic, stupid, useless and I'm sorry I ever wasted my time on you. I wanted to drag you back home but, I see you'd just make me mad." Annan says and his form flickers. "I think it's time I shed this stupid disguise don't you?" His ghost form melts away and shows his true form. Annan has a bodybuilder structure and black curly hair framing his face. He has black and red eyes pouring out torture and lies, with a leather jacket over a white shirt and ripped black jeans with black army boots. He has brown curly horns sprouting from the sides of his head and a pointed black tail, sharper than a knife and stronger than a machete. Why Shane ever cared for him, is a mystery Shane himself can't answer. All he can say is, "I was young and stupid, being noticed by a handsome boy was just instinct." Shane faintly hears Ryan gasp.

Annan whispers to Shane, "I want to kill you slowly, painfully and as horribly as possible. But let's make this fun, shall we? That human of yours, he seems to really care about you, yes? I wanna play a game. Hide and seek would be fun indeed. I'm going to let you and your human hide for an hour, and then we'll see if I can find you..." Shane already knows what's coming and closes his eyes, bracing for impact. He feels Annan raise his arm up and feels the punch hit his stomach and feels himself fly. He hits a wall, then another, then another, then he hits the floor, roll, roll, roll, then black.

Ryan screams as Shane flies through the walls. The demon then turns to him and Ryan stills to the point of being a statue. The demon points to the hole in the wall- er walls- and says, "Go get him and hide." Ryan scrambles up and runs through the walls to get to Shane.

Annan looks after the pesky human and smiles evilly. "This is going to be such fun."
