"Two? Right this way ma'am" Iliana greeted the customer excited to try on her items of clothing,
She led the way to an empty fitting room, hanging up the number once the girl closed the door. Iliana returned to her spot at the entrance of the fitting rooms, her spot for the last 4 hours.
Iliana loved and hated her job, but loved it for the most part. She hated it because her boss didn't like her for some reason and made her do most of the work. She was surprised when she was put in fitting room duty for the entire 7 hours she worked today. She also hated that she circulated one environment for periods of long times, but that was with most jobs. However she loved the discounts she got on the clothes and people watching the customers when they came into the store. She stuck with it because it was an easy job that gave her money.
"Aye pretty mama, how you doing?" Rakim and his group of friends approached her. His friends looked through the clothes since they were in the men's section anyway. Rakim had already hollered at Iliana 2 months ago and they have been texting ever since. He thought he could surprise her and take her out to eat after her shift that ended soon.
"Hey Rakim, what you doing here?" She smiled widely as she hugged him, taking in his scent.
"Just stopping by to see my little baby" Rakim said.
"Little? Baby? Boy I'm a grown ass woman. Just because you're 5 years older than me don't mean nothing" she shifted her weight sassily.
