"Aye this shit is amazing. Thank yuh so much" August said as he parked in his driveway.
"No problem, Aug. you've worked so hard and we know you deserve this spot" Kiara said through her phone.
"I gotta start calling up dancers and DJs and allat other shit. Man I'm too hyped. A nigga finna go on another tour" August couldn't believe he got the chance to go on another tour.
He has taken a long break from his music because of his disease, the deaths of his family members, and becoming a father figure. But even through this, he still was writing music because he planned on making a comeback someday. And that someday is coming soon thanks to his 4 year long manager Kiara.
She has been helping him, personally and professionally. The night he found out Cha had died, Kiara bought him wine, ice cream, his 'naughters', and a shoulder to cry on. The night he decided to put the music on hold, Kiara reassured him he could make a comeback. The night he decided to start to record again, Kiara booked the studio 3 days for him.
August really enjoyed having Kiara as his manager because she was a hard worker and close to his age.
"Well let me know if you need some help. I got some suggestions for dancers" Kiara said.
"I'a let you know.... what you doing right na?" August's accent seeped out.
"I just came back from hanging with my girls. Why do you ask?" Kiara giggled. She had been celebrating with her girls already.
"You should come over and celebrate with me. I got wine, card games, ice cream, cotton candy, anything you like"
