Cardi👅: Quavo wants to settle the truth. He said meet him at 253184 Saddlerock Creekshaw Rd (A/N made up) so he can prove it to you

Adrian: Mmm okay what time?

Cardi👅: 2 pm

Adrian: I'll be there.

Adrian put her phone down and sighed. This really was too much. First Quavo had the nerve to cheat and then lie after he got caught. Then he wants to meet up and attacks her for something he brought upon himself. And now he wants to 'prove' himself. She just knows it's gonna be another disappointment.

It was 12:10 right now so she finished her cereal and got in the shower. She put on her clothes then her makeup and by the time she was finished with everything, it was 1:15 so she decided to head over to the address Cardi gave her.

In no less than 20 minutes she arrived and waited the last 15 minutes before walking into the building. The receptionist told her where Quavo and the lie detector was so she went into the empty room with just Quavo and an empty seat. She didn't say anything as she sat down across from him.

"Before I reveal the results I want you to know I'm still standing by the fact that I have not cheated on you" Quavo said.

"Mm hmm, yeah whatever" Adrian sucked her teeth.

Quavo opened the envelope so that both of them could see it.

Question #1: Did you cheat on Adrian?
Answer: No
Result: No lie

Question #2: Do you have AIDS?
Answer: No
Result: No lie

Question #3: Did you repeatedly lie to Adrian?
Answer: Yes
Result: No lie

"See, I would never cheat on you. You're the fucking love of my life, you're my rock. I know it may be hard to trust me because I've hurt you before but I promise to be there for you and the kids. I don't want you to leave me for somebody else. I know we may argue and fight a lot-" Quavo grabbed Adrian's chin with his index finger and made her look at him. Tears slid down her face but she quickly wiped them.

"It's love. I know you love me because you keep putting up with my shit when nobody else do. I promise I'll be home on time, feed the kids, be there for you whenever you need me. I promise I'll be here for you baby, no doubt" Quavo continued.

Adrian jumped on him and gave him a huge hug along with a thousand kisses. She squeezed him so tight and shown him all the love she buried deep in her heart for the last few months.

"Damn okay baby. I get it you missed me but can I go see my kids now?" Quavo chuckled as he peeled her off of him.

"Sorry, yes. Yes, we can go home now" Adrian said wiping her lipstick off his face.

They paid the check and agreed to meet back at their original house. What they didn't know was how their little separation affected the kids.

After paying her sister, Adrian called for Junior and Ashley, their 10 and 11 year old boy and girl.  The kids ran down the stairs excited for the surprise their mom had.

"Oh the cheater is back" Ashley said shifting her weight to one side while folding her arms across her tiny chest. She glared at Quavo like he was the 10th guy her mom had bought home tryna be their stepdad.

"Um excuse me Ashley, you need to fix that attitude. This is your father" Adrian said giving Ashley a warning look.

"He wasn't a father when he was out there messing with those hoes on the street. He was acting like you were one of the weak little girls who go to school with me" Junior added his two cents.

"Look I don't know what got into you two but y'all will still respect your father. Everyone makes mistakes and y'all need to stay out of grown folk business" Adrian said.

"Just like he respected you huh?" Ashley shot back still not letting go of her attitude.

"That's it. Y'all both getting whooping so I can prove I'm still your father" Quavo snatched them both up carrying them up to his room. Even through their whining and apologies, he got out the special belt he saved for whoopings and spanked them hard enough to get their little attitude out.

After half an hour, he was finished but the kids were angry so they locked themselves up in the room. Quavo was about to go make them unlock it but figured he woulda been mad if his father had cheated on his mother too. He went downstairs and watched tv with Adrian.

Quavo felt so guilty and happy to see his kids he decided to surprise them. He told Adrian he'd be back in 30 minutes and drove to Walmart.

Once he came back he invited the kids downstairs and once they saw gingerbread and hot chocolate they let go of their little anger from earlier.

Adrian smiled as she saw how happy her kids were building a gingerbread house, eating hella junk food, drinking hot chocolate, and playing games with their father.

"Don't be fattening up my kids Quavo" Adrian playfully warned.

"This is our kids and they need a little meet on their bones. Why don't you come join us?" Quavo said. She joined in for a few games but decided to surprise Quavo. So while they were playing, Adrian snuck off to Walmart to get her own things.

Adrian was gonna make sure Quavo felt a warm welcome back to the house and truly feel how sorry she was for doubting him.
