"Oh my gosh I haven't been here since sixth grade" Aliya squealed as Daniel and her walked into the city's museum. Daniel and her have been hanging out for the past few weeks but never out in public like this. More like drive in movies and late night car conversations.
"Oh yeah. I forgot about that trip. I didn't get to go because Ms. Weaver's ugly ass write me up" Daniel said.
"Well, I can be your guide" Aliya smirked at him.
"You can be more than my guide, shawty" Daniel said.
"Stop flirting, mister. Now, where do you wanna start?"
"But didn't you, nevermind... Let's go to the lucky left"
They went into the first exhibit and admired all the old paintings before moving to the rest of the museum. They had technological exhibits and even some interactive ones. Aliya loved museums and things that preserved history so she enjoyed going through each room and reading about the paintings. Daniel also enjoyed the museum and watching Aliya enjoy herself.
"I remember me and Kiara started a game of truth and dare with people and we all would do dares randomly. The teacher was so mad at us. Someone had to scream 'Mona Lisa' in the middle of the museum. Kiara and me got dared to twerk in the middle of the Civil Rights exhibit. We had to walk in the front of the group after that" Aliya chuckled.
"So Ms. Innocent Little Aliya was a bad ass kid huh?" Daniel chuckled.
"I wasn't bad... I was just young"
"Mm. And I wasn't a basketball player, just someone who played basketball"
"You were more like a football player with that form you had" Aliya said, purposely being shady.
"Got damn. You went so hard. You know I coulda played basketball in college if it wasn't for my injury. I don't know why you talking Ms. Soccer"
"Haha. Lowkey I was the JR Smith of the high school team"
"Not sure if that's something to brag about. JR is accused of being drunk on the court" Daniel laughed.
"Okay but he was a great role player. That's why LeBron didn't get rid of him for awhile"

They walked into a big foyer with paintings spaced out on the wall.
