Why'd You Come Back?

Intro

"For the record, you're the one who walked away. Don't expect me to take you back if you do decide to come back."

Those were the last words I said to Dallin before he left for the army. The last words he said to me were, "Why would I want to come back to you? You're just a selfish bitch."

I have to admit, those words stung, even to this very day. Especially at the age of seventeen. To say the least, Dallin Williams had broken my heart.

It's been five years since I've seen him though, and a lot has happened that changed me into an entirely new person.

I admit, I used to be a selfish bitch, as Dallin put it, but I decided no one wants someone like that. I changed my personality to be a caring person. It's probably one of the best things I've ever done. My life was actually starting to look really nice and normal, minus the depression of a freak accident I was slowly overcoming because of something that happened a little over two years ago, but that's not important right now.

I owned my own bookstore down in Heber, Arizona. It was perfect. My life was starting to become perfect, that is until one fateful day he decided to come back into town. That day he so unexpectantly walked into my shop. That day all my emotions came running back to me. The day I knew I'd probably end up making the same mistake again of falling for him.

Hey Readers of 'Why'd You Come Back'! I really hope you enjoyed the intro! I'm super excited to write this book! I'm going to apologize because I must warn you, I am an ameautear writer and my chapters may start out a little choppy and very short. So for that, I'm sorry.

For those of you who don't know much about Arizona and where the setting is taking place, it's in Heber. Heber is a small town in the woods a little ways from Payson. You've probably passed by it if you've been traveling around by Payson or if you've ever been to Arizona.
