"Seungmin and Y/N sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-"
"Will you guys stop that already? It's driving me insane!" Seungmin exclaimed dramatically.
"But you're going on your first official date! How can we not be excited?" Hyunjin giggled, squishing the boy's cheeks together with a motherly grin.
Seungmin glared at him before replying, "It's not a big deal. We're just having lunch at an Italian restaurant."
"You're right, it's just going out for some pizza with a friend. We're sorry for teasing you so much." Jeongin sympathised.
"Exactly, thanks for understanding." And with that note, Seungmin went back to his room for an early night's rest.
Or not.
A few hours later, the hallway lights flickered on and a small knock was heard at Chan's bedroom door. "What's wrong Jeongin? Having trouble sleeping again?"
"Actually it's me, Seungmin. Can I come in?"
"Yeah, is everything alright?" Chan asked, wondering why on earth his assistance would be needed at 3am.
"There's too much on my mind about the date. I feel like everything's going to go wrong." He sighed.
Chan moved his laptop to the side and patted a space on the bed for Seungmin to sit on. "Tell me everything that's on your mind then."
"I really want this date to be perfect since I like Y/N so much, but this isn't a 'best friends to lovers' situation. We're not that close yet so I still become shy around her, and don't act like my usual dorky self." He explained.
"Hmm in my opinion, over-thinking will only make you more nervous. I'm sure that your personality will come out naturally anyway. And besides, if she agreed to go on this date with you, it means that she likes you too!"
"I guess you're right. Thanks for the advice hyung." He replied giving Chan a hug before he yawned.
"No problem. Now you should really go back to bed. No one likes a grumpy, sleep-deprived Seungmin in the morning." He chuckled jokingly.
"Ok, but can you help me with one last thing?" He asked hopefully, causing Chan to nod.
