Chapter 10: sarah sarah

I was sitting in one of those questioning rooms waiting for some one to come in and I felt really awkward because of the reflection glass. I know someone is watching me so I try not to look at the glass. I'm fidgeting and my hands are sweaty, it's disgusting. The door opens and I jump a bit. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." It was office... Whatever I have a bad memory.

"It's fine" I looked down not making any eye contact.

"Are you ready for me to ask some questions?" I nodded. Why is everyone talking to me like I'm a baby.

The officer basically asked about what happened, how I knew him and explained what will happen next. I was finally told that I had been kidnapped for around 47 hours and it is now Sunday 4pm. Great. I missed my whole weekend because of some idiot.

" Adam ? We have a phone call for you." Some other officer came in and escorted office Adam brennet out.

"I will be back soon and then you can leave." I nodded as usual.

Thinking about it I didn't tell him about the phone call Harry was on when he thought I was a sleep. I should probably tell him about that.

After a while officer brennet walked back in. "Now before you leave is there anythings else I should know?"

"Yeah there actually is. When I woke up after I had fainted I kept my eyes shut and I could hear Harry on the phone talking to someone."

"Ok go on."

"Well I could only hear Harry but he was saying stuff like 'what do I do now?', 'you told me to scare her' and can I get out of here now?'. I don't really know what this all means but I have a feeling Harry wasn't the only person involved. He had nodded multiple times and now seems to be in deep thought.

"Do you know of anyone who would want to give you a scare?" I shook my head no. "Is there any chance he knew you were awake at the time and maybe tried to trick you?"

" I don't think so. My eyes were shut and I was practically frozen."

"Yup ok well we will question Harry and see if he will give us the information." I nodded my head as officer brennet made his way to the door and told me I could go.

I walked out of the room to the front desk and noticed Callum on one of the chairs. Wen he saw me his eyes lit up and he ran to me and gave me a bear hug. Even his touch gave me electricity. I felt safe in his arms and never wanted him to let go.

We held hands not saying anything out into the car park until I spotted my mum walking at a quick past towards me.

"Oh sweetie, come here." My mum reached out to me and gave me a hug. I felt tears come to my eyes. She must have been so worried. "Let's go home darling."

"Yeah ill meet you at the car I just need to speak to cal." She nodded and made her way to the car and I made sure I knew where it was.

I turned to Callum and smiled. "Sarah, Sarah. You don't know what it's been like for me. I know I'm being selfish i mean you were kidnapped for god sake but being without you made my heart crumble. Knowing that you might not be safe made me feel like killing to get to you. Not knowing where you were made me want to hunt down every guy you had ever met. I tried so hard to find you that I couldn't wait for the police. I had to get you myself. The thought of him touching you made me sick. I'm so sorry. I should've always protected you. I should've tried harder for you. I should've chased you down when you ran away. I never should've let you get away." He was holding my hands by now and I was crying.

I think I love this guy.
