Oh my God, Luke is here with that rude boy, they must be friends, god dammit. As they approach the counter I don't what to make a scene
"Hello how are you today?"
"Belle?" I look up and try to act surprised like I didn't see him
"Oh hey Luke, how are you?"
"Yer I'm good, um you left your blanket with me the other night so yer"
"Oh yer that's right, I will have to get it back one day soon. Now is this all you guys are buying?"
"Yes it is" As I pass the items through the scanning machine I'm not sure if I should ask a question or not I'm not sure.
I hand them a bag full of their items and put the receipt in after they have paid. "Have a nood day" once I realise what I've said Luke and I both laugh. "Sorry I was gonna say nice but then my lips said good" I laugh
"All good, see ya" he turns to leave until he turns back around and starts to walk back to me "um, what time do you finish?" I check the time and it's only one hour until I finish
"Only one hour, why?"
"Oh um can I meet you here at 2:00?"
"Yer sure" maybe he is giving my blanket back
"Ok cool, see you soon" he smiles and waves then goes on his way.
2 o'clock comes very slowly and when it does come i see Luke waiting outside patiently. I start to head to the door until my boss asks me if I can stay a couple more minutes and I wanna say no but decide to tell him yes but I have to talk to someone first. When I walk outside to tell Luke he obvisouly hears me and turns around and gives me a big cheesy smile. "Hay Luke, i'm sorry i have to work a couple more minutes but i'll be out in no time, I promise" i rush back inside and hope that I don't take too long. As soon as i get back inisde i'm rushing everywhere, asksing customers if they need help and checking everything. After a while i try to find my boss but he is no where to be found. I finally find him for what feels like forever and he says i'm free to go, I run out the door and go to where Luke was standing but he's not there, has he changed his mind? I check the time and its 2:27, where could he be? When i'm just about to give up i hear this little voice coming from my left, I turn around and see Luke walking this way. "I'm so sorry you had to wait Luke i didn't think i would be half and hour"
"It's all good, sorry if you thought I left, i needed a toilet and there was one around the side so yer" he laughs which makes me laugh, his laugh is so contagious.
"It's all good so why did you want me to meet you here?" he blushes
"well" he laughs "i was wondering" little giggle "would you maybe...want to...I don't know"
"spit it out Luke i haven't got all night" I joke, I really actually have got all afternoon
"okay, I'm just going to say it and it doesn't matter about the answer" "I'll get rejected anyway" he mumbles so i can hardly hear him. "would you like to catch a movie with me tonight?" almost all of his face turns red and I can't help but giggle.
"I would love to but when?"
"Well there is a movie on tonight that I reckon we would both like, well I'm not sure about you but.." I'm begging that it's 22 jump street. "It's 22 jump street"
"I'm definitely there, I've wanted to see that movie for ages, what time?"
"7:00, I'll pick you up at your place but you'll just have to give me the address"
"Yer sure, it's not that far from where we first met"
