Belle's p.o.v
When I saw those girls giggling and pointing it really made me feel self conscious and the whole walk back to Luke's car my arms were folded to cover my stomach. As we get to the car Luke unlocks it and we jump in, he starts the car and drives out of the parking lot. As we are driving I just stare out the window and I can't help but think about those girls, when I really think about them, they were pretty and I can see why they were laughing at me. "What's wrong" shit. He can tell, great. Do I tell him the truth or not, he doesn't know about my depression or anything? Great.
"I'm just tired" I tell him, what of he doesn't believe me?
"Oh okay, you just don't seem happy, did you have a good time" of course I did until those girls came.
"I had heaps of fun, you don't need to worry about me Luke, I'm fine" I give him a smiles which hopefully looks happy enough.
"Alright then" He tells me, we keep driving until we reach my house and he pulls into the driveway. "Here we are" we sit in his car for a while until we both decide that I should get inside seeing that I'm 'tired'.
As we walk up to the front door we stay in silent, we reach the front door and Luke says goodbye and I do as well, he pulls me in for a sweet tight hug and it feels amazing, I can feel his heartbeat and I can feel his warm breath. He let's go of me and I do the same, it was nice to have a hug, I actually don't think I've had one in a while and I really enjoyed Luke's hug. " I better go" I tell him, I give a small wave and smile and head inside. I walk inside and see my younger sister sitting on the couch "where's dad" I ask her with her eyes glued to the TV
"He's out, again and guess where"
"The pub?"
"Ding ding, correct, where else would he be" her eyes are still glued to the TV
"Good point, you should get to bed soon"
"Maybe"
"Well I'm off to bed, night" I walk out and head to my room while she still has her eyes glued to the TV, doesn't she
have homework or something?
