We arrive at the small restaurant and walk to the counter, a small innocent looking girl with very long hair is standing there serving the people in front of us. She's very pretty and definitely a girl Luke would fall for.
"Good evening, do yo-" she stops halfway through her sentence staring at Luke. "L-Luke, hi" she smiles. "Long time no see, how are you?" Luke looks a little shocked and I'm not sure why.
Is there a history between them?
"Good, good, and you?" He replies
"I'm doing well. Who is this" she says gesturing towards me. She looks at me from head to toe. "This is Belle, my...um..girlfriend" he smiles, her smile fades away when she hears the word 'girlfriend' and I know she has liked Luke or she still does. "Nice to meet you Belle, I'm Ariana" she smiles.
"So are you going to tell us where out table is or are we going to have a reunion?" Luke asks a little to harshly.
"Yeah sorry, um...table 2" Luke nods and walks to our table pulling out my chair for me which makes me blush a little.
Luke sits down and grabs the menu and I do the same.
A waitdress comes over and takes our drink order as well as food, Luke orders ravioli and I get a simple supreme pizza.
Our drinks come out really quickly. I take a sip of my drink and it's a bit awkward but Luke breaks the silence by asking me what I wanted to work as when I was a child.
"Well, when i was younger I wanted to be a florist, stupid I know but I really liked flowers" I laugh and Luke joins in. "What about you?"
"I wanted to be in a band and funny as that seems I still want to" he smiles. "That cool, have you got a band yet?" I ask.
"Yes actually, Ash, Cal, Mikey and I are in a band. We do band practise sometimes and we post videos on YouTube, surprising, we actually get some good views, not a lot but a few" Luke explains a little more about the band and the name, their name is pretty cool, it's '5 seconds of summer'.
Our meals come out and they look delicious and smell even better. I take a slice of my pizza and try some, it's amazing.
I look over at Luke and it looks like he's enjoying his meal because the sauce is around his mouth. He laughs a little before grabbing the napkin and wiping the sauce of, he continues to eat his meal and I do the same.
The rest of the night goes pretty quick, we don't order dessert at the restaurant instead we go and find a small ice cream shop and sit on the esplanade enjoying the view and each other's company.
Luke drives me home and when we pull up into the drive way we don't immediately go to my door, instead we stay in the car in complete silence and I quite like it. I yawn feeling very tired and I can see out of the corner of my eye I see Luke smile. "What are you smiling at?" I smile.
"You, your adorable when you yawn" when I hear his words I blush feeling my face heat up. "Are you tired?" He asks
"Yes, very tired" he smirks looking me in the eye.
"Well, I wonder....will this wake you up?" He reaches over to me gently pushing my chin upwards, I could feel his warm breath, teasing me, wanting him more but quickly his lips lock with mine making me melt and feeling the butterflies in my stomach rise up.
Our lips move in sync and it's not gentle like it was the first time, it's more persistent, more urgent. Like we need each. How I need him.
Luke breaks our kiss and I smile causing him to smile. "I had a really good time Luke, thank you"
"Your welcome Belle, we are going to do this again, very soon" I nod and open the car door after saying goodnight to Luke.
What a wonderful night, besides having Dads girlfriend saying I'm 'chunky'. Her words are still replaying in my head and making me very upset.
I know her words are true but every time I think about it a piece of me breaks. And I can feel myself slowly, very slowly slipping back into the dark place where I don't want to be but have been way too many times.
I open the door inside the house and it's completely pitched black, everyone must be asleep. I check the time and it's says 10:24pm.
I go to the bathroom and have a quick shower before changing into my PJ's. They are super comfy and I love it.
I go to my room and read a bit before turning the light of and shutting my eyes.
I can't get to sleep at all tonight, I constantly check the time, each minute feels like hours, this always happens after I have a nice time, I get happy and think about it.
I put my earphones in and let the slow music play sort of help me get to sleep. The time is 1:40am by the time I finally drift to sleep. I have to get up in 5 hours and I'm not looking forward to working tomorrow.
