Hideaki before his little "accident" was a swell young boy. He was well-built and had fine black hair that he kept brushed back. Eager brown eyes explored his surroundings and a heavy Japanese accent struggled through the English language at learning. Now he speaks it much more fluently, though the accent is still there.
After things went downhill, Jouichi had several limbs replaced. Just about everything from the waist down was metal ( except for — y'know ) plus his right arm. His body ( or what's left of it ) is littered with scars, small and large. His missing limbs were replaced with prosthetics wrapped in fibers. External padding that resembled the shape muscle tissue enveloped the actual robotics underneath. Areas that usually get bumped up against more or see more use ( forearms and legs ) have added an protection of metal plating over them.
In battle, Jouichi wears an extra layer of armor over the soft padding and thin metal. He also wears a mask over his mouth and nose to aid in breathing.

❖ POWERS ❖

⇢ TRACKING EVASION: Jouichi can't be tracked down, all the traces of his passing disappear or are ignored: fallen hair, blood, skin particles, etc. will dissipate into dust and no scent is given off.

⇢ ENHANCEMENTS: Having a body made up of 50% metal has its perks. The cyborg body made Jouichi faster and lighter, actually — like surprisingly light for a body of metal. There's a heftier pack to his punch and increased stamina.

❖ WEAKNESSES ❖

⇢ While being 50% robot may seem cool, the realistic of it is that it's a lot of work. Maintaining the metal with cleaning and oiling and remembering to sleep like a regular person are delicate balances Jouichi must take care of.

⇢ It's a new type of torture to have to hide in the shadows from the people you once knew. Jouichi is always in a constant mental struggle with having to be at peace with his new life and body. Is he still Hideaki? Can he even bear the family name of Gento without bringing shame to it? Jouichi often finds himself indulging in these thoughts and can zone out for long periods of time or even just — disappear.

⇢ Jouichi is reluctant to trust others, but he's willing to make the effort. While he may seem comfortable around you, he could still be holding back just waiting for things to crumble.

⇢ He's an insomniac. You'd think running around all day would make him dead tired, but Jouichi just can't bring himself to settle down and sleep.

❖ BACKSTORY ❖

Hideaki was born with abilities, and in their new world his parents were absolutely terrified about it. Luckily his powers were nothing flashy and could easily be hidden, but they were still strict on making sure he never used them.
One day, Hideaki decided to reveal he had powers to his friend, his best friend. In a fit of jealousy and anger, they attempted to kill him and turn him in for having powers. Hideaki would have died in an alleyway had he not been saved by Lux.
Hideaki is named dead and stays away from home to keep his family out of the drama.
He took on the fake name Jouichi and helps the vigilante cause from the shadows.
