Pearl's upper body is fair skinned, quite the contrast against a pearl white and black tail. Black hair sits atop a delicate face. Near the transition from human to fish, his skin lightens to almost match the pearly color of his tail. On other parts of his slim figure, specifically his forearms and hands are colored solid black. A fleck of bright orange adorns the corner of both his brown eyes, almost appearing like makeup.
Pearl's slim tail sits at a good 9 ft long. It starts out as a pearly white color ( hence the nickname ) then fades to black as it nears the end. Bits of orange can be spotted near his waist and on the tip of his tail, along with the orange on his tail is a trail of bright blue.

Pearl is a hybrid of few words. He never really caught on to human dialect when out in the ocean, save for a few words he picked up here and there ( Pearl is hard of hearing, so that played a hand in it too ). He mainly uses gestures and facial expressions to communicate what he wants. Besides that, Pearl is a very energetic and optimistic person, he loves socializing with the others and even enjoys a good prank every now and again. His good personality fails him though, Pearl is naive and trusts others a little too easily.
Pearl is easily startled, as much as he enjoys playing around, the slightest bump or prod from humans can send him reeling. He's not exactly a hybrid of a super strong fish, so he has to be cautious.

Pearl enjoys frozen shrimp, playing around with the workers, and showing off his tail to the humans. Any tourists who happen to get a little too handsy or violent hybrids are an immediate no from Pearl.

Pearl isn't one of many abilities, he's slim and a fast swimmer to make quick getaways and can hide fairly well - but there really isn't much else to him.
