Guzma × reader {The Champion and the Thug}

Ch. 8

So, I think I've been spelling region wrong. My phone auto corrects it to reagon and not region.

(Y/N) Pov:

Today was the day.

The Champion's Super Battle is today.

And I was nervous.

I met the other Champions of the other regions, and I must say, they all seem to have much more experience than I do at being Champion.

Probably because I've only been Champion for three years in a row.

I was currently wearing my champion battle outfit that I always wear whenever I'm battling at the league. I'm also wearing the sweater Guzma gave me over top, just to add a little dramatic flare.

I also love how mysterious and ominous I look when I'm battling with my hood up and covering my eyes.

I've also got my main Pokémon that I always use.

Decidueye, Gardevoir, Sylveon, Absol, Lycanroc, and Lunala.

Both Absol and Gardevoir can mega evolve, but you can only mega evolve once per every battle, so I let Gardevoir and Absol take turns whenever we battle.

Absol has her silver necklace with her Absolite on it, while Gardevoir has her silver music note hair piece with her Gardevoirite on it as well.

Decidueye has her Deciduim Z.

Sylveon has her Farium Z

Lycanroc has her Lycanium Z

And Lunala has her newest Z crystal, Lunalium Z.

I'm so excited to see what it does and what it's capable of.

Becuase I'm hosting the battle, I had Kukui do the announcements and act as referee, since he used to be Champion of Alola before I defeated him.

Anyway, back to the present. Me, Guzma, and Kukui had stayed near the entrance to the Alter waiting for the Champions to arrive.

Everyone else was inside already seated. We also have some News Cameramen from all different regions set up and ready for the battle.

Unfortunately Guzma was getting restless and impatient.

"Come ON! Where are they? Aren't they supposed to be here for thier battle? The only Champion who actually showed up was thier host, and that's you!" He said. He crossed his arms and huffed in agitation.

Kukui chuckled and ruffled Guzma's hair. Guzma, being agitated, swatted his hand away and tried to fix his floofy hair.
I giggled and looked up, seeing some people were still just arriving to watch the battle. My eyes then caught sight of four men walking towards the entrance to the Alter. They all had one Pokémon out and all had gopro cameras and a backpack each as if they were going to record a video for PokeTube.

I think they called them Vlogs if I recall.

One was wearing a black T-shirt with a pink mustache across the chest, a pair of black pants that were just above his ankles and a pair of black shoes to match. His hair was all black and was longer near the front of his head and swept off to the left. He also wore a pair of glasses and had a little stubble making up a mustache. Riding on his shoulder is a female Banette wearing a small hoodie sweater that was mainly black, but also had some white stripes going around the sleeves. She also has a small necklace with what I can assume to be a Banettite. I noticed that the man's mega stone was attached to the side of his glasses.

The second man was wearing a grey hoodie that had a giant green and blue eye on it, and was wearing a pair of long black pants with a pair of grey shoes. He had black hair like the first man, but it was more spiked and had been died green near the top. He was wearing an Irish flatcap on his head, so his green bangs were sticking out from the hat. He also had stubble on his face making up a mustache and a little bit of a beard too. The Pokémon that was riding on his shoulder was a Legendary Pokémon that I recognize from the Kalos reagon. It's a Zygard, or at least it's 1% form. Attached to the man's belt is a small Zygard cube, a device that sucks in Zygard cells and allows Zygard to change forms. The Zygard on his shoulder has a blue glowing shape on its chest.
