Guzma × reader {The Champion and the Thug}

Ch.5

A few hours later

(Y/N) Pov:

Me and Guzma sat at the kitchen table  next to each other.

I had my head down on the table resting on my arms looking tired and exhausted.

Guzma sat next to me with one arm propped up and his hand resting on his cheek, looking bored as well.

We both sat there, watching Cosmog happily dance along the table, flouting just a couple centimeters above it.

Guzma sigh.

"What the heck am I supposed to do with a Legendary Ultra Beast? I'm a bug type user." Says Guzma. He had completely dropped the gangster slang for the time being.

"I don't know. He's your Pokémon now" I stated, my words somewhat muffled by my arms, not moving from my spot.

"Why couldn't you just catch him instead? Wouldn't he be more happier with Lunala on the same team as him?" Asked Guzma, as he watched Cosmog twirl.

"Like I said before Guzma, I already have a full team of Pokémon I really love using. I have no intention on replacing them. Besides, I'm the Champion, and most Champions use the same Pokémon they always use during a battle against challengers." I say.

"Alright, alright. Ya got me girlie." He says, dropping the seemingly useless argument.

I then remembered the strange Z-crystal I had found as well.

"Hey Guzma. I found this purple Z-crystal just before we left the Alter. I don't know what it does, but it looks different from the ones we usually use" I say, taking out the Z-crystal.

"Huh....never seen one like this before. Maybe we could go to the library at Ula'Ula island and see what we can find?" He asked, examining the purple gem.

"Sure, why not? But let's go in the morning. It's almost midnight and I'm extremely exhausted" I say, yawning.

"Good call." Said Guzma, agreeing.

We both said good night and went back into our rooms to sleep the rest of the night before morning.

TWO WEEKS LATER

It has been two weeks.

Me and Guzma both went to Kukui and Hala to see what they thought of the idea of using the Lake of the Sunne as the stadium for the Champion's Super Battle.

Of course, it was only temporary, so we'll be using transportable bleachers. It would also be a good chance to get the place cleaned up and rebuilt back to it's original glory.

First we had to ask Nanu if it was ok if we rebuilt the Lake of the Sunne first, since he was the island Kahuna.

He said that he could care less, just as long as we don't hurt any of the wild Pokémon that may live there.

Kukui emediatly got some construction workers there to help rebuild the place.

I let Kukui take care of the rebuilding part for the event. He was in charge of building the Champion's League, and it turned out beautifully.

The bleachers would be put around the perimeter of the Alter, and there would be two pillers that would be a couple meters high with stairs leading up to a platform for us to stand on when battling against each other. Other than that, the Alter would remain the same, only more fixed up.

Hopefully the fog would go away too.

Now then, back to the present time.

The Z-crystal I had found turned out to be a special Z-crystal spacifically made for Lunala.
