Guzma × reader {The Champion and the Thug}

Ch. 9

(Y/N) Pov:

Here's how the battle went.

We all had to battle with one Pokémon each. The Pokémon we chose to battle with. The further into the battle we got, we have the ability to choose a different Pokémon to battle with.

Despite being Champion for three years, me and my Pokémon all dominated the tournament.

Battle against Blue:

Lycanroc dodged Arcanine's Flame Blitz and did a back flip, landing on her front right paw and had used Stone Edge, making large rocks to burst out of the ground. 

Arcanine dodged the attack.

"Lycanroc, use the rocks from stone edge and use Rock Climb!" I yelled.

Lycanroc nodded and jumped from rock to rock, picking up speed.

"NOW ROCK THROW!" I yelled out.

Lycanroc stops at the last giant rock, crouches down, then jumped high into the air, holding large pieces of stone in her paws. She then starts spinning in the air, throwing the stones down at Arcanine.

The attack hits Arcanine, but he was able to shake it off, but he was very weak.

"Arcanine, use Bulldoze" yelled Blue

Arcanine starts running towards Lycanroc as she continues to fall to the ground, then he jumps up as high as he could to land the attack on her.

"Dodge and use Crunch!" I yelled.

Lycanroc, at the last minute, grabbed onto Arcanine as he sailed towards her, sending them both down to the ground. Lycanroc managed to avoid hitting the ground by using Arcanine as a shield, then once they had landed, Lycanroc bit Arcanine hard around his fluffy neck, using Crunch.

Arcanine wailed, but fainted nonetheless.

Battle against red:

Red's Blastoise had used Hydro Pump which hit Decidueye head on.

Decidueye made some shreeking noises, complaining about the water that had made her feathers wet.

"It's ok Decidueye, use Leaf Blade!" I say.
Decidueye shook off as much water as possible and launched herself forward, taking out two large blades made of very shape leaves that were hidden in the feathers of her wings.

She then slashed Blastoise three times with the leaf blades.

Blastoise stumbled back, looking back to Red.

Red nodded.

Blastoise nodded back and tried using Dark Pulse.

"Dodge and use OverGrow!" I yelled.

Decidueye flew up into the sky, did a front flip, landing only a couple feet away from where Blastoise used Dark Pulse.

As she landed, she used Overgrow, making large tree trunks/vines to burst out of the ground, whipping Blastoise.

Blastoise fainted right after.

Battle with Lance:

Sylveon jumped high into the air and used Dazzling Gleam, almost blinding Dragonite as he tried to use Dragon Breath.

"Use Hyper Beam Dragonite!" Yelled Lance.

Dragonite used Hyper Beam after recovering from Dazzling Gleam and hit Sylveon directly.

She staggered a bit, but managed to stay standing.

"Alright Sylveon, use Draining Kiss!" I say.
