Guzma × reader {The Champion and the Thug}

Ch.3

(Y/N)'s house, 5:30am

(Y/N)'s Pov:

I woke up with my back against the backboard of my mom's bed.

I slowly opened my eyes.

The curtins were closed, so there wasn't any sunlight coming in.

I stretched my back becuase it was a little sore from sleeping against the backboard all night.

I looked down and saw Guzma was still  hugging my waist loosely and cuddling my stomach.

I sigh, knowing he might wake up if I tried getting up.

I'll just explain what happened last night when HE wakes up to find us on this position.

I layed down properly in bed, which made Guzma shift around so he was now hugging me completely as he slept, only now his face was buried in my neck. His fluffy hair was slightly tickling my face becuase of how close we are.

I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.

TIME SKIP TO 8:45AM

Guzma's Pov:

As I slowly woke up, I felt someone else in bed with me.

I opened my eyes and saw that (Y/N) was sleeping next to me.

I had my arms around her while my face had been buried in her neck.

I started blushing hard and panicking. I shot up into a sitting position, blushing hard and confused.

"(Y/N)! W-Wake up!" I stuttered.

Curse my stupid stuttering.

(Y/N) slowly started waking up.

"Morning Guzma" she said, sitting up and stretching.

Why was she acting so casual about this?

"Why were you sleeping in bed with me?" I asked, completely dropping the gangster slang.

"You were having a nightmare last night, I started comforting you by petting your head, then as I was pulling away to go back to my bed, you grabbed my arm saying you didn't want me to leave. I stayed for a couple more minutes, and was about to leave again when you grabbed my waist and started hugging it and cuddling into my stomach." She explained, getting up and walking to the door.

"O-Oh.....thanks...." I mumbled, crossing my arms and looking away.

"By the way, what were you having a nightmare about anyway?" She asked, curiously.

Should I tell her? I don't know how she'll take it. I don't think she even knows that my dad used to beat me back when I was younger.

"I-I'll....I'll tell you later. Right now I'm just hungry." I say, avoiding the question.
She looked at me a bit skeptically, but then shrugged and turned back around.

"I'm going to make us, and our Pokémon, breakfast now. I'll help you outside when it's ready." She explained.

"Alright....wait....what do ya mean outside?" I asked, but she had already left, so all I was left to do was watch TV until she finished.

TIME SKIP

Now I know what she ment by outside.

I had put on my shoes....well....shoe since I had a cast on my other leg. I also put on my jacket.

(Y/N) had finished making breakfast, which was pancakes with whip cream and fruit.

She had also helped me outside into her backyard where we both sat at the outdoor table.

Gardevoir, Sylveon, and Decidueye sat at the table eating some pokebeans. Absol and Lycanroc both ate from thier food bowls while Lunala floated above the ground nearby and ate some pokebeans as well.

I had also let out Golisopod and Ariados to join us for breakfast.

(Y/N) had given them some pokebeans that they were happily eating as well.

After breakfast, all our pokemon went to do whatever they wanted.

(Basically your Pokémon were doing the same as the first chapter, but with Golisopod and Ariados joining in too)

I saw Golisopod watching Gardevoir curiously as she danced, making some streaks of energy flowing gracefully from her hands as she ballroom danced by herself.

Ariados was in the tree with Absol and lounging around lazily with her.

I took a deep breath in, then sigh.

I sort of feel at peace in (Y/N)'s presence. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like we're getting along, even if she's not showing it.

"Hey Guzma? Mind telling me about your nightmare you had last night?" She asked, not looking at me.

I turned my head to her in surprise, then sigh.

"Well...If you really wanna know....ok. I haven't told anyone else except Plumeria, but.....when I was younger, I used to be abused by my dad. He would constantly beat me with his golf clubs until they were bent so much you couldn't even use them anymore. My mom was too scared to do anything  becuase she feared he would start hitting her with the golf clubs too. I can't blame her. She was scared...like I was. One day, I had enough, so I ran away. I brought Golisopod with me. We formed Team Skull, stole Pokémon from other trainers. Did some really bad and stupid things now that I think about it" I said, chuckling at the last par.

"That dream I had last night....I don't remember the details, but what I do remember is that I was back there. I was younger again and my dad was beating me again...but he was also beating my mom becuase she tried to stop him. I actually thought he was gonna kill her. There was nothing I could do becuase he had beat me so bad that I was at the edge of consiousness. I watched as he rose the golf club to make the final blow to kill my mom, when everything turned black. I has suddenly felt comfortable, like someone was comforting me. It felt nice." I explained, smiling near the end.

I sigh.

Now she knew.

I looked at her.

She was looking down at the ground with sadness in her eyes.

"(Y/N)? You ok?" I asked, a little concerned.

She looked up at me.

"The question is....are you ok?" She asked me sadly.

I was shocked at first, then looked down.
"I've been beat, abused, and left with lots of bruises becuase of my dad. I'm ok now because they all healed, but...it's the emotional and mental pain that still hurts" I say.

I suddenly felt two arms wrap around me in a tight hug.

I was shocked to see (Y/N) hugging me tighly.

"It's ok. Hopefully, you won't have to see him again." She whispered in my ear.

It sent chills down my spine, hearing her whispering so close to me.

I decided to go along with the hug, and just started hugging back. I took a deep  breath, inhaling her scent and enjoying the peace and quiet of being outside with her.

Sorry it may be short, but it was almost midnight when I typed this on my phone (on a school night).
