"Oh my god. Monica. Jeff. I-", Fallon was so surprised to see them standing there. Honestly she was panicking because they literally caught them making out. They weren't getting their way out of this one.

Monica and Jeff stood there, meters from Fallon and Kirby, staring in amazement and not the good kind.

"Fallon save it, when did this happen? Why didn't you tell me about this I'm your best friend." Monica seemed more upset that shocked. Fallon looked helplessly at her. What could she even say.

"Look, i was going to tell you I was I promise," Fallon pleaded. Wow real smooth Fallon.

Monica scoffed and walked over to the door, swinging it open so hard it probably could have fallen off of its hinges. But it didn't. And she slammed it shut with equally as much force as she had opened it, sending echoes and vibrations through the house.

Fallon grabbed Kirby's hand as a single tear trickled down her cheek. This wasn't how today was supposed to go. Not at all.

Jeff was frozen to the spot, mouth open as though he'd seen a spaghetti unicorn or some crazy shit.

"I better go," he mumbled before basically running to the main door, struggling to turn the door knob. He smiled awkwardly at the two girls and stumbled out in a panic. They couldn't blame him, it must have been awkward for them both.

Fallon sniffled, and buried her head in the crevice of Kirby's neck. She felt safe with her.

"Fal I'm so sorry," Kirby said stroking her hair gently as they sat down on the bottom step of the grand staircase.

Fallon looked up at the beautiful red head above her,"Its not your fault they were going to find out eventually."

Straightening up, Fallon wiped her eyes with the back of her hand and stood up, taking a deep breath. Kirby observed with sympathy and rose with her, embracing her girlfriend once they had each reached full height.

"I love you," Kirby whispered.

Fallon wouldn't usually say I love you so early on in a relationship, but this time it felt right.

Fallon smiled. "I love you too."

They squeezed each other tight for what felt like hours. And then Fallon pulled away, Kirby confused.

"I should go and talk with my dad. I thinks it's time to, i mean we haven't spoken in a week. Can't avoid him forever," she called as she began walking hesitantly towards his study.
