After trailing Fallon's scent all around the house for what felt like days, she finally found her. The wine cellar of course. Downing bottle after bottle. Classic Fallon.

"Babe come get dressed," Kirby prompted holding her hand out for her girlfriend to take hold of.

Fallon raised her gaze to stare suspiciously. She lowered her Pinot noir and placed it rather softly on the oak bench to her right.

"Get ready for what? Don't tell me someone died, my seamstress needs at least two days notice for a new dress," she rolled her eyes and stood, taking Kirby's hands in her own.

Kirby drew her close, "No... we have a little surprise planned for you," she whispered into her girlfriends ear.

"Well that sounds rather sexual, wait who's we? I thought I told you how I feel about threesomes Kirb," Fallon stepped back and the suspicious look returned.

"No no it's nothing like that," Kirby said in a panic.

"Well I mean I wouldn't be totally opposed to that idea as long as I get to pick who," Fallon spoke in a sultry voice, almost ready to pounce on her.

"No Fal, hold up girl, god," Kirby held her hands up in defence, attempting to stop whatever Fallon was about to do,"Just come upstairs with me and I'll help you pick a dress."

"Why?," Fallon seriously looked suspicious now and from Kirby could tell, she wasn't going to give up until she knew what was actually happening.

"I mean seriously what the hell is going on, everyone's been weird the last couple hours, sneaking around like some-" Fallon stopped in the middle of her snarky comment. That never happens. Like ever.

Kirby felt her hands relax slightly into her own pale palms, and she looked at her lovingly.

Oh no, she knows, Kirby thought worryingly.

Fallon pushed Kirby into the chair behind and sat on her lap, legs either side of her. Kirby looked confused as Fallon stroked her hair lightly and brushing the side of her girlfriends face with the back of her dainty fingers.

"Babe are you ok?" Kirby asked cautiously, craning her head back a little, framing Fallon's face in her front view.

"I know what's going on Kirby," she said softly.

"You- you do?," Kirby giggled half heartedly, still looking slightly panicked.

"Yes you are obviously planning a coming out party where you tell everyone you and I are a thing. Oh and I bet you my dad is gonna apologise and make some stupid grand gesture, tell me if I'm wrong," Fallon didn't stop for a breath.

Kirby fidgeted in her seat, which proved rather difficult due to the girl sat on top of her.

"I mean saying no would be a lie.." she grimaced, realising she'd been rumbled.

Fallon grinned delightfully and stood up, her legs still either side of her girlfriend. She hopped back a few steps and gestured for Kirby to stand too.

Kirby did as her girlfriend has instructed and hugged up, half smiling, half frustrated about the fact that she figured out the surprise everyone had been trying so hard to keep.

"I love you Kirb, but I'm not actually looking forward to this," Fallon said.

"Wha- but you looked pleased just a second ago?," Kirby protested. Fallon was known for giving messed up signals.

Fallon gazed at her and spoke softly," Look I'll pretend I still don't know about the party and I'll act surprised and all that, but I cannot agree with the 'making amends with my delusional father' part of this charade okay? Good," without a word more, she swiped the half empty bottle of Pinot noir, unfinished and left. To go and get ready, Kirby supposed.

Fallon could hear everything being set up downstairs. To be honest they weren't doing a very good job at keeping the whole thing a secret. It sounded like a heard of elephants down there.

Staring into the mirror, she touched up her lipstick and plumped up her cleavage. She wondered if she should knock up her lippy a shade.

"Hell I'm coming out, people deserve the bold," she muttered to herself as she reapplied.

Placing the lipstick back into the dressing table, she sighed and stood up, her body hitting an unexpected object on her way up from being seated. A very curvy object... which must mean...

"Kirby" Fallon identified the figure with whom she had collided.

"Oh my god I really just wanna do you right now but I have to get you downstairs," Kirby sounded generally upset that she couldn't sleep with her right now this second.

"Well...," Fallon replied, edging closer to her girlfriend, pushed her cleavage against Kirby's, provocatively," I can be quick."

"I know but come on, let's get this over with first okay?," Kirby took hold of Fallon's hands and subtly pulled her closer to the door.

Fallon's nodded as Kirby began to describe what everyone thought was getting Fallon downstairs for the 'surprise'.

"So basically they think that you think its just a normal family dinner," Kirby said it how it was.

"Kirb my outfit says party," Fallon stopped at the door.

"Babe you're Fallon Carrington, you'd turn up at a homophobic church in drag," Kirby paused," huh that'd be awesome by the way.

"I guess I am generally fabulous," Fallon pondered,"Right let's crush this."

They shared a smile and began the walk down the corridor.
