It was around three-thirty in the morning when I felt Y/N shoot out of bed and towards the bathroom. In my half-asleep state I got up and followed after her. She was hunched over the toilet emptying her stomach. I rubbed her back and pulled her hair into a ponytail. "Let it out baby." She stopped and leaned against the wall. "Gi, go back to sleep. I don't want you to get sick. I'll be fine." I frowned. "I am not leaving your side. Baby, you can't put on this front all the time. You have to let people take care of you when it's needed. You always take care of me. Let me take care of you for once." She looked at me with her Y/E/C eyes. "Okay." She said softly. I smiled at her and helped her up so she could brush her teeth. I helped her back into our bed and went to grab a thermometer to check her temperature. She reluctantly let me as I just smiled at her. The thermometer beeped as I took it out and frowned at the number it was showing. "102.4. Damn baby." She frowned and snuggled her face into her pillow. "I feel like death." She said. I sighed, "I know. I'm gonna go get some medicine and some cold water. You strip so we can break this fever." She nodded as I went downstairs to grab the medicine and the water for her. I went back up and saw her laying on her stomach with her face buried in a pillow. My heart broke seeing her like this. "Baby? I got the medicine." She groaned as she turned to face me. "I don't want it." I rolled my eyes at her stubbornness. "Baby, you have to take it. It'll make you feel better." She pouted at me. "No." I playfully glared at her. "How about this? You take this medicine, then I will put on your favorite Disney movies, make your favorite soup then we can cuddle. How does that sound baby?" Her eyes lit up at the mention of cuddling. She then looked at the bottle of medicine I was holding and sighed sadly. "Hand it over." I smiled sympathetically at her. "Just down it fast baby." She poured out the desired amount and grimaced. She finally downed the medicine and ran into the bathroom to rinse her mouth out. I giggled at the reaction from her as she came back into the bedroom and got back into bed. I leaned over and kissed her cheek. "Good job baby. Now you stay put while I go make this soup for you okay?" She nodded and cuddled into the bed, pulling the covers up to her chin. I smiled at the sight and headed into the kitchen.
I decided to text my agent to cancel anything I had for today so I could take care of Y/N. As I continued to cook the soup, I felt arms wrap around my waist and a face nuzzle into my neck. "Baby, you're supposed to be in bed." She gently pecked my neck, "I got lonely." I smiled at her clingyness and turned around in her arms, wrapping mine around her neck. "You are the world's greatest girlfriend Gi. I don't know what I would do without you in my life." I smiled at the girl and got on my tiptoes to peck her lips. "That's all you baby. You know after I broke up with Zayn, I didn't think I would ever find love again. Then you came waltzing into my life. I don't know how I've survived without you baby. I'm so grateful for you." She smiled at me with glassy eyes and pecked my lips. I frowned, "I want a real kiss." She shook her head, "I don't want to get you sick. You have stuff to do today." I shook my head. "You are my number one priority baby." I ran my hand through her sweaty hair. She smiled and closed her eyes. "That feels good." I smiled at her and turned to finish the soup.
After I got her to eat, we made our way to the couch and laid down. She laid in my lap as I played with her hair. We put on her favorite movie and just relaxed. After about 15 minutes, I noticed she was asleep as soft snores left her mouth. I smiled down at her just thinking how lucky I was to have her to take care of me, be there for me and just be my girlfriend in general. Little did I know the roles would be reversed in about three days.
