Having managed to snag her outdated phone while running out of Rainbow's home, Applejack dialed the number of a friend she could rely on to better her mood. That friend being Pinkie. The distance between herself and Rainbow's home had grown immensely with the time she spent running. The farther away she was the better. Applejack plopped down on a random street curb, bringing the phone up her ear, letting the soft 'rings' calm her nerves. When she heard someone pick up on, she perked up. "Pinkie! Where are ya? If you're not busy, can we hangout?" Her voice was far steadier than it had been a few minuets ago. The run away from Rainbow's home had served as another therapeutic way to have calmed her nerves.
There was an overly worried Pinkie on the other line, it seemed that she had been doing something important because Applejack could hear other voices on her end, beckoning her to do the task she had been assigned. "I'm so so sorry Applejack! I'm helping student co with some party stuff, you know me, professional party animal. Don't worry though, I'll be out in a second. I'll ask Flutters to go pick you up, she's probably around that area since she lives near Rainbow."
At that moment, Aj didn't care who came to her aid. She just didn't want Rarity to find out what she had just gone through. The two had barely managed to stable their 'relationship', she would hate to be the cause of yet another rift between the two. She knew who was at fault and who was keeping the two from getting together. And yet, she couldn't bring herself to say it out loud. Letting out a soft sigh, she hugged her knees to her chest. She tilted her head into the phone, using her shoulder as support. "Okay, thank you." Lowering the phone, she hung up. She had tried to best to NOT make it sound like she had been crying waterfalls minutes before. If there was one person who could read emotions well, it was PinkiePie. She was a force to be reckoned with.
The country girl only had to wait a few five minutes before Fluttershy arrived. Standing up, she did her best to seem unbothered by what had happened. Climbing into the car, she greeted the shy girl and was surprised when she heard Twilight speak up. "What happened?"
