Helloooo 5amily ^-^ Taking requests on here now! I started making a site to post all these on! I won't be writing my other ffs often because of these, but that's alright, because I really want to focus on imagines and Replay for now. I hope you like this, Elizabeth!

You will yourself to not look up from your phone.

You never understood why anyone your age liked roller-skating so much. It was torture to even move a few feet in them, much less have a good time when rude people knocked you over anyways. The only reason that you agreed to come is because of your friends, adn because you had nothing planned, anyways.

You sat in the back, near the vending machines, up against a wall. The entire eating area was a retro, 50's themed diner, which the kids here didn't seem to appreciate as much. They were out of hand, spilling Monster and  slushees everywhere. Unlike, you, of course, You were posied and quiet, almost lost in the uproar of teens.

You couldn't help but notice a group of boys out of the corner of your eye. They were best friends, you could tell by the way that they teased each other. You caught yourself staring for a moment, instantly looking back down at your phone. Your friends had ditched you for the rink, much to your dismay.

You hear whispering coming from the table now. Out of curiousity, you listen in.

"She's not paying attention, shut up!" one boy laughs.

"Go talk to her."

"No, stop."

"Seriously, I dare you."

"Bruh..."

"I dare you or you're sleeping outside tonight. With the sprinklers on."

You hear a frustrated groan, and you stop listening. You contemplated leaving, but this was the only place other than the rink. Plus, there was wifi in here.

You heard a soft shuffling sound, and you slowly look up.

A boy from the table is sitting in front of you with wide, animated eyes. He has fair skin, tinged brown, almost. His curly brown hair peeks out from under his Steelers snapback, and he is wearing a short sleeved, button down shirt that is buttoned up to the collar. Admittedly, he's adorable, and seemingly your age.

You blush and twist your dark hair, pushing your glasses up on your nose. "Uh... hi...?"

He flashes you a perfect, toothpaste-commercial white smile. 'I just wanted to tell you that you're really pretty."

You blush deeper. Looking down, you smile. "Oh, thanks!" Awkwardly, you turn your phone back on and hope that he leaves.

"I'm Dana," he continues, much to your chagrin. You look up again. 'I'm Elizabeth," you say. almost too quietly. Why was he still here, again?

"Elizabeth..." he says, slowly. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

Oh. There it is.

You roll your eyes. "I'm not interested, pretty boy."

You hear his friends snicker from their table at him, but his face is still flooding with confidence.

"Why not? I don't bite."

You bite your lips. "Seriously, dude, just-"

He cuts you off by grabbing your hand  from across the table adn giving it a gentle squeeze.

You narrow your eyebrows, yanking it away, pulling your arm back, and striking him across the face, much to your surprise and his.

He sits there quietly for a moment as his cheek fades from red to it's normal color, and under the table, you rub your stinging palm.

He slowly begins laughing, and your cheeks heat up. "Feisty, are we?"

"Piss of."

"Why? I just want to talk."

"Well I'm sorry to inform you that I'm not loving this conversation."

"I'm loving you, though."

"Dude."

He huffs, sitting back. "What's your problem?"

You raise your eyebrows. "Right now? You. I don't have time for this."

He leans forward, so close that you can feel his breath on your face.

"I have to say," he whispers. "I wouldn't mind wasting my time on you."

For the first time that night, you actually smile.
