Chapter 3

Jade's p.o.v

I woke up to my phone going off. I was given a phone when I started working her yesterday. I got changed ad then brushed my hair. I had to go help prepare breakfast. I put my hair into a ponytail and walked to the kitchen. I was in charge of the pancakes. I heard the door to the kitchen open. It was my mom and that guard I was talking to yesterday. My mom hugged me and got to work. Then the guard walked up to me. He was at least 20. He's been really nice to me.

Guard: Good morning Jade.

Jade: Good morning Daniel.

Guard. Remember to meet me at the west side in the field at 11:00.

Jade: Will do.

I was daydreaming and then suddenly I realized that I burned a pancakes. I threw it out. I was just daydreaming about Perrie. I mean who doesn't. She is cute, smart, can stand up for herself and a lot more. I wish I could date her. She is everything I want in a girl. Only issue is that she doesn't love me and if she doesn't marry Zayn her mom will probably try to make it so she is not next on the throne. It was 6:30 so I went to wake up Perrie. She got up and got ready for school. She came out of her bathroom with her uniform on. It was a blue blazer with a black dress shirt, a black, blue and white plaid skirt. She also wore black nylons and black shoes. she brushed her hair and kept it straight with a middle part in her hair. She then went down to eat breakfast while I served them. When it was time a car came to pick up all the royal children for school. I cleaned up in the kitchen and then went to went to clean bathrooms. I decided to water the garden next. It was on the south side of the palace.I grabbed my phone and walked to the garden. I opened the door and walked inside the greenhouse. Since it is February everything is in the green house. I watered the plants and picked all of the fruits and vegetables. Once I finished I walked back to the kitchen and washed them. I had to go to the field soon to meet with Daniel. I walked outisde and around to the field. He has 2 guns and targets set up to shoot. He started with a lesson on how to use the gun. Before I let him finish I grabbed a gun, loaded it, and shot every target.

Guard: Wow you are good. Well I guess you can be a guard when needed.

Jade: Great.

I waked back inside and to to the kitchen. I had to help with lunch. Perrie has only been gone for 3 hours and I miss her. I served lunch and then we ate after like always. I was cleaning up and then thought that I should go see my dad. I finished doing dishes early and ran off to see him. I walked into the room and he was lying down on a bed. I wish I didn't have so much to do here so that I could spend more time with my dad.

Dad: Hello Beautiful.

Jade: Hi dad.

Dad: So how is it here Jade?

Jade: It's ok. I mean I wish I had more time to see you but I am always working.

Dad: So Jade I have had talked to the doctor.

Jade: That's great dad!

Dad: Jade I only have a week left until I die.

Jade: What!

My dad made room for me on the bed and I sat down beside him. He just held me as I cried. I love my dad and I haven't even told him who I really am.

Dad: Jade you should probably get back to your work before they start getting mad.

Jade: I need to tell you something. Well I need to do it before you die. Dad I like girls.

He just started laughing at me. I was mad.

Jade: Great so you hate me now.

Dad: No Jade I don't hate you. I have know that you liked girls since you were 8

Jade: Really?

Dad: Yeah.

We both laughed. I hugged him and left the room. I did some more cleaning until 3:10. I saw a car pull up to the the door. it was everyone returning from school. I got changed into what the guards have to wear. I then grabbed my gun. Perrie went to change as I got into the car and pulled it around to the front. I got out and held the door open for Perrie and her mom. I then got back into the driver seat. I drove them to the mall and went inside with them. People were surrounding us asking for pictures of the queen and her daughter.

Perrie's p.o.v

I was surprised that Jade was the driver/guard taking us to the mall. I got changed out of my uniform and into blue skinny jeans and a sweater. I put on my uggs and grabbed my coat. I got into the car and Jade drove. My mom was talking about my party. I said that I wanted one with my friend and I instead of a bug one with all of the royals. She said that I could do both. Unfortunately for me my mom was inviting the Malik's. For the big party I will have Jesy, Leigh-Anne and defiantly Jade. I'll have to make sure they treat her as a guest that night not a servant. There will be music there no matter what. Just because my mom hates music doesn't mean that I do. I'm not sure if there is anyone else I personally want to invite. We got to the mall and bought a lot of things. We then went by this store that sells dresses. I can wear one of my old dresses to the party but I am doing this to make my parents happy. Most importantly my dad. Once we finished in that store we went to a few others and then went back home.
