Chapter 10

Perrie's p.o.v

I woke up and looked at my surroundings. I was in a hospital. It only took seconds and I started remembering what happened earlier today. I was shot!  looked at my stomach and there was stitches. A doctor came in and sat down beside me. He told me that earlier today I was shot in the stomach. He than said that I broke some of my ribs and my left lung was punctured.

Perrie: Who shot me?

Doctor: I don't know but the police want to talk to you.

Perrie: Ok.

A girl walked in with a notepad and started to introduce herself. She then asked me about last night. She asked me if I know who shot me, who doesn't like me, people in my life that have been very weird around me. I had no idea. 

(Flashback)

I was dancing with the girls and then Daniel walked up to us. Jade walked off with him. I saw someone on the balcony. I saw who it was but I can't remember.

(Flashback Ends)

Perrie: So when can I go home?

Doctor: In a week or so. It will take at least 6 weeks to heal the lung and rib cage. But it will take 6 months or so to heal from the gunshot wound.

Perrie: Ok.

The doctor left and someone came in with a tray of food. I thanked her and then lifted the tray. It was spaghetti and meatballs. As I ate I heard the door to the room open. In came Leigh-Anne and Jesy. They looked worried.

Leigh-Anne: Oh my god are you ok?

Perrie: Yeah. I should be going home next week.

Jesy: That's great Perrie!

Perrie: Did Jade come with you guys?

Leigh-Anne: We have to tell you something.

Jesy: Jade was arrested.

Perrie: For what?!!

Leigh-Anne: Your mom accused her of trying to kill you. We know she didn't but you know its your mom we are talking about.

Perrie: I need to go get her!

Jesy: Perrie you were just shot! You are not going anywhere.

Perrie: Jade wouldn't of even had time to walk from us to the balcony and back so I know she didn't shoot me. So when is she going to be released.

Leigh-Anne: Well um Perrie your mom said she is either going to die in her cell or if she has time she will be hung. Also someone too her gun and took a bullet out to frame her.

Perrie: Guys I have something to tell you.

Jesy: What is it?

Perrie: She isn't my mom. She is actually my step mom.

Leigh-Anne: What? Perrie is this you or the drugs talking?

Perrie: I'm serious guys.

Jesy: Ok but what do you mean?

Perrie: When I was 5 I was playing in the palace. My dad was cheating on my mom with my stepmom. Since my dad was further down on the throne the media never found out about his girlfriend a.k.a my actual mom. My stepmom killed my mom and I watched the entire thing happen. I was hiding in the office. My stepmom made it look like a suicide. She helped my dad get over my mom and he decided to marry her. They both believe that I think she is my real mom. Travis is my only brother and the rest are half siblings.

Leigh-Anne: So what are you trying to say?

Perrie: Guys I think my stepmom tried to kill me.

Jesy: So what now?

Perrie: When I am allowed to go back home I am going to go downstairs and get her out somehow.

Leigh-Anne: When you get home you will be on bed rest for like a week Perrie.

Perrie: When I am able to walk without being in too much pain I will go down and get her.

The girls left and it was 8:00. I was planning on how I was going to get Jade out. When I get back home i'll be put on bed rest for a week according to Leigh-Anne. It will hurt to move so it will take longer to walk down 2 flights of stairs. Then I actually have to unlock the cell and I don't have the keys. Maybe Daniel will help me. My door opened and in came my dad. He hugged me and than sat down in the chair next to me. 

Dad: So I have great news Perrie.

Perrie: What is it dad?

Dad: We found the person who tried to kill you. She is in the dungeon right now.

Perrie: Dad please listen to me. I know that you have Jade locked up. I know how it looks but she did not try to kill me dad.

Dad: Perrie she was the only one with a gun that was missing a bullet. 

Perrie: Did you ever think that she could of been set up.

Dad: Perrie she is just a servant who works for you. She is not your friend. She probably wants to be you. She knows that she never will be you so she tried to kill you.

Perrie: Dad Jade would never do that. Can't you see that! I know who tried to kill me.

Dad: Yeah an who is that?

Perrie: The person that you have been claiming is my mom since I was 5 years old!

Dad: How do you know that she isn't your actual mom.

Perrie: Really dad? I was 5 years old. I can tell that she wasn't my real mom because I wasn't a baby!

Dad: I'm sorry that I lied to you about your mom.

Perrie: How could you? You can't jut replace my mom with the girl you were cheating on her with!

Dad: Perrie I still loved your mom. When she committed suicide I never forgave myself!

Perrie: Dad she didn't kill herself! She was murdered by my step mom!

Dad: How dare you accuse her of such a thing!

Perrie: I watched it happen right in front of me!

Dad: Perrie what proof do you have?

Perrie: I watched it happen dad. I can't believe you! Why don't you trust me?

Dad: Ok well I'm going to let you sleep and let the drugs wear off. 

He leaned in to kiss my forehead but I pushed him away.

Perrie: Don't touch me.

Dad: Fine. Goodnight.

A nurse came in with a small suitcase. It was stuff that my dad brought for me. I went through it and pulled out a small box. I then realized it was the ring Zayn proposed to me with. I put it back into the suitcase because  I don't want to marry him so I need to give him back his ring. It was time for me to go to bed so I positioned my pillow and fell asleep.
