Chapter 13

Perrie's p.o.v

Today was the big day. If I am even a minute late Jade will die. It was 9:30. Daniel came down to the jail and got Jade. I kissed her and told her that I loved her. I then waited for Leigh-Anne and Jesy. They came about 5 minutes later.

Jesy's p.o.v

It was 9:30 and I got a text from Daniel. It was go time! We parked the car and went behind the palace. There was guard so we had to hide. When he left we saw the brick Daniel was talking about. I pushed it in and there was a secret door. We got in and closed it. There was only one hallway so we knew where we were going. When we got to another door we opened it and ran insde.

Leigh-Anne's p.o.v

I grabbed the keys and immediately unlocked the cell. We have 15 minutes left and it is a 10 minute drive without traffic. We were about to leave but Perrie said she needed to grab something first. Jesy ran out to get the car and pull up around the side door where the kitchen is. We ran up the stairs and to the kitchen. Perrie grabbed a knife and we ran to the car.

Perrie's p.o.v

We got into the car and Jesy started driving. We only have 15 minutes left to save her. I was figuring out my plan. My stepmom and dad have a microphone they have to speak to the audience. I will put my phone on speaker and put it up to the microphone.

Jade's p.o.v

There was 5 minutes left and I was starting to get worried. I couldn't see the girls anywhere. The entire kingdom of South Shields is here. Even my family. My mom and sister were crying. So was I. I know I am not going to die but seeing them cry made me cry.

Perrie's dad: You know Jade if you didn't try to kill my daughter you would be with your family and they wouldn't have to watch you die.

Jade: If you listened to your daughter than no one would be here.

Perrie's p.o.v

We were 2 minutes away and the car instantly stopped moving. We were in a traffic jam.

Jesy: Shit!

Perrie: We have to run! 

We got out of the car and ran towards the park. I could now see Jade. My dad was about to pull the lever that would kill my girlfriend.

Perrie: STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ran up on stage and pressed play on my phone. I then put it up to the microphone.

Perrie: Why did you kill my mother?

Stepmom: Like I said Perrie I wanted your dad and he still loved her. Faking her suicide was the only way.

Perrie: You killed my mom and an unborn baby!

Stepmom: Yes and I should of aimed a bit higher when I tried to kill you!

Perrie: Why would you want to kill me and then blame Jade for it!

Stepmom: Well you already know the answer Perrie. I hate you and want you dead. You obviously want to be with Jade. Killing you and blaming her for it would of got rid of the both of you! A girl should be with a boy not another girl!

*End Of Recording*

Dad: Is this true?

Stepmom: Yes but Perrie you were too late!

I watched as my mom pulled the lever. The platform dropped and Jade began to suffocate. I grabbed the knife I had and immediately cut the rope. Jade dropped and I ran to her. She was coughing a lot. Whoever tied the noose did not do a good job because her neck wasn't broken. She just almost suffocated. I helped her up as people rushed to her side.

Dad: She's getting away!

My stepmom started running but the guards caught her. She was going to be in jail for the rest of her life. My dad ran up to me and started apologizing. Surprisingly Jade forgave him. If she could than I could. He then said that he would change the law for us. I hugged him and then went up on the stage with him and Jade.

Dad: There are a few things I would like to change around here. Gay marriage is no longer illegal and when Perrie is 21 I will be stepping down as king. Perrie will be your new queen!

Perrie: We are only girlfriends now but I am pretty sure at that time I will have Jade to run South Shields with me. I kissed her on stage in front of everyone. People were cheering. After everything was done we went home.
