Chapter 12

Jade's p.o.v

It has been 3 weeks since I have been locked up in this place. I was told that I would get hung next week. I was getting really lonely. Daniel cut the sound off of the cameras so we can now talk without looking suspicious. He said that he talked to Perrie. She is trying to get proof that her stepmom killed her mom and also was the person who shot her. I hope that it won't be to late. 

Perrie's p.o.v

I have been feeling a lot better now. I can now walk without anything hurting. Today was the day I was going to confront my stepmom. I grabbed my phone off my nightstand and started recording. Once it was recording I put it in my pocket. The girls were in my room waiting for me to come back. I was really nervous. This plan could completely backfire. After the girls gave me a pep talk I walked into my stepmoms office. This can go either way. She can admit to what she did or she can get mad that I confronted her and push up the execution date. I walked into her office and closed the door.

I walked out of the office with a smile on my face. I can't believe what just happened. I have my stepmom on tape saying she killed my mom, shot me and framed Jade and that I will never be queen because I will die before that ever happens. I went to my room and closed he door. I then shortened the recording so it was only our conversation. We were thinking about when we were going to show people and who exactly. That's when my stepmom walked into my room.

Stepmom: Hey Perrie I got Jade's execution pushed up to tomorrow. 

Perrie: You realize you are killing an innocent person for something you did?

Stepmom: What proof do you have of that Perrie?

Perrie: I recorded our entire conversation. I have on a tape everything that you did.

I went to the mall a couple days ago to buy a blank cassette. I knew if my mom thought that it was on my phone that she would take it.

Stepmom: Give me that!

Perrie: No!

Stepmom: Guards!!

All of a sudden guards came rushing into he room.

Stepmom: Take those 2 girls outside of the palace and take Perrie to the prison.

Perrie: What no!

Stepmom: That is where you will be staying until Jade is executed. If you are lucky I will even make you watch.

Perrie: You better not hurt my friends.

Stepmom: Daniel is just going to escort them away from the palace.

Another guard grabbed me and took me down to the jail cell. When I got there I saw someone sitting on one of the beds.

The guard let go of me after putting me in the cell.

Perrie: Jade!

Jade: Oh my god Perrie what happened?

Perrie: So 4 weeks ago when my stepmom shot me she obviously framed you. You already know that part though. I couldn't walk without my body hurting since it wasn't healed much yet. It is still not healed completely but I can walk and even run now. So today I recorded my mom and have her on my phone confessing to my moms murder, my attempted murder and framing you for trying to kill me. I bought a blank cassette and said I recorded her on there. She took he cassette but since I recorded her on my phone I have everything. She got Daniel to take Leigh-Anne and Jesy away from the palace. She also is moving your execution to tomorrow.

Jade: Oh my god. Just so you know Daniel is on our side. He is probably coming up with a plan with Jesy and Leigh-Anne. Also where is your phone?

Perrie: In my pocket. She was stupid enough to not take it.

Jade: So I'm dying tomorrow.

Perrie: Over my dead body you are. She said she might make me watch. just need to get out of this cell and tomorrow at the execution play the recording in front of everyone. That way they will dethrone her.

Jade: Your dad will still be king though.

Perrie: When he learns that she killed my mom and his girlfriend it will probably change his mind. Then when I become queen if he still hasn't changed the law on same sex marriage I will.

Jade: I thought that you didn't want to become queen?

Perrie: You know what? I really didn't at first I wanted to be just like my friends and live a normal teenage life. That's when I met you. I had no idea how bad the kingdom of south shields was doing outside of the palace. When I learned about how it was for you and everyone else I changed my mind. When I become queen I will make sure that all of the money doesn't just go straight to the palace. That way all of the people in south shields won't have to worry about having enough food on the table to feed their family.

Jade: Perrie.

Perrie: Yeah?

Jade: Thank you.

Perrie: For what?

Jade: For everything. When I first came here I thought everyone was going to act just like your stepmom basically. You changed that. You were one of the only people here who care about me.

I wasn't thinking and when Jade finished talking I kissed her. I  really like her and I just want to be with her. When I finished kissing her she kissed me back.

Perrie: Jade will you be my girlfriend?

Jade: Yes.

Perrie: Oh shit there is a camera in here?

Jade: Daniel disabled it don't worry.

Just on cue we heard the door open. In came Daniel with 2 trays of food.

Daniel: So we have a plan.

Perrie: What is it?

Daniel: Tomorrow I have to bring Jade downtown to the park. That is where the execution will be held.

Jade: Shit. My mom and sister live beside that park!

Daniel: Anyway when I come to get you Leigh-Anne and Jesy are going to sneak down here and  to come get you. I gave them a key to the cell. You have 20 minutes from the time I get Jade to get to the park and play the recording. A minute later and she will be dead.

Perrie: Ok.

Daniel: Get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a big day for the both of you.

Jade's p.o.v

Daniel left and we ate our dinner. It was 8:00 PM. We were both really tired so we just decided to go to bed.
