Chapter 12

Next up was trivia. We where put into two teams, boys vs girls. Most of the questions where about camping, wild life, and nature. Three things I know nothing about. It was mostly Momo and Itsuka VS Bakugou. They sure are smart.

I watched my teammates in awe, they're amazing! After a while, I started to loose track in what was going on and went on a ride in my train of thought. And what did I start thinking about? Well, it was Bakugou.

It wasn't that I had a crush on him..sure he has an attractive face, with his sharp jaw line and chubby-ish cheeks. And has a really good built for a 16 year old. But his looks where besides the point. It was that he seemed a little off, in a way.

With his pointed molar teeth and long canine teeth, sharp nails, twitching nose, super strength. It was so animal like, thinking about why that was started giving me a head ache. "I grew up in these damn woods". That sentence there, it had to be part of the answer.

I don't even know why I'm thinking so much on it. Is it because this is the most interesting thing that has ever happened to me? Probably yes. Well, lunch break is soon, so hopefully I'll be able to ask Bakugou about it.

But will he answer? That's the question here. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it.

Bakugous POV

It's finally lunch break! I got tired of my annoying ass group. I grab my food and go outside, not wanting to eat in the mess hall. "Bakugou!". I hear a familiar voice call my name. I let out a groan, seeing (Y/n) walk up to me.

"Hey, uh, do you mind if we talk?". She asks. "Yes". Is all I answer. She frowns, then smiles sweetly again. "Great that you agreed". She says, even though I didn't agree. She doesn't take no for an answer. I like her.

"Fine, just be fast". I tell her. She won't go away if I ignore her. "So, I've noticed some 'things' about you". She tells me. I raise an eyebrow at her. Does she know? "And that is?". I growl, not helping myself in this situation.

"Well, you seem to have strength more then an average 16 year old, your molar teeth are sharper and canine teeth are longer, your nails are sharp, and your nose twitches which I assume is when you sniff, not to mention you growl when you're angry". She explains.

"So?". I snap at her. "You also said that you grew up in these woods". She adds. Have I really been that obvious? She's one little thinker. "And your point is?". I question. She expression turns serious, she must know.

"Where you abandoned in the woods as a child and grew up in the woods like an animal man?". She asks, stars in her eyes. I look at her in confusion, a rare expression for me. She can't be serious, can she?

I flick her in the head, she lets out a wine and covers her forehead. "Are you fuckin stupid or somethin'? That's the dumbest shit I've ever heard!". I snap at her. And for a second I thought this dumb bitch was smart.

"Then what about the things I pointed out?". She questions, rubbing her forehead. "It's called genetics, dipshit!". I answer. I mean, I'm not wrong. She looks up at me with a pouty face, her arms dropping to her side, showing the little red mark on her head.

"Really? It was either that or you're a werewolf". She sighs. WHAT?!?! "But they aren't real, so I went for the more realistic option". She adds. BEING AN ANIMAL MAN WAS MORE REALISTIC!?!? With a sigh, she walks away. Why did she have to be my mate?
