Bakugous POV
"You have your pros and cons, just like everyone else". She answers, turning to look at me. I tsk and turn away from her. Why are my cheeks heating up? Sure, she's my mate, but she shouldn't be making me blush.
She seems to actually like me, unlike those idiots that follow me around. She makes me feel happy, excepted, wanted, and so much more. But will that change when I tell her the truth? It'll give her more of a reason to be scared of me.
What if I tell her now? No one is around. But what if she gets scared and runs back to the others? I'd be fucked! But...would she tell them I'm a werewolf? Can I trust her? "New girl, how can I tell if you're actually my friend?". I ask her, raising an eyebrow.
I hear the grass rustle, I turn to see her sitting right next to me, looking up at me with bright red cheeks and a bright smile. "Cause, I feel safe around you! A friend would feel safe around their friend, right?!". She tells me. I feel my cheeks heat up more. Damn it!
"What if I told you that I could scare you?". I ask. "I'd say try me". She responds, no hesitation. I smirk down at her. "Really?". I question, a little growl in my voice. I lean closer to her, she leans closer to me. Am I gonna kiss her?
"What if I told you that I was gonna kiss you?". I ask her with a smirk. Her face turns red and her eyes widen, she lets out a little shocked yelp. My smirk only grows larger, leaning even closer to her. Our lips are inches away, but we get interrupted.
A loud howl from the distance, my bloody old hag of a mother. I pull away from her and turn towards the woods. Letting out a tsk, standing up. "Is something wrong?". (Y/n) asks me. I don't answer her, but run off into the woods.
(Y/n)s POV
His lips are so close, getting closer each second. I don't stop him. His lips are about to touch mine, until a loud howl rings through the woods. Bakugou turn to the woods, moving away from me. "Is something wrong?". I ask Bakugou, my face still red.
He doesn't answer me, he runs off into the woods. I quickly stand up. "Bakugou! BAKUGOU!". I call out. I wanted to chase after him, but I was too scared to run into the woods. "Screw it". I mutter angrily.
I bolt into the woods chasing after Bakugou. The lights from the camp start to get dimer and dimer. My foot gets caught, crashing towards the ground. I push myself up with my elbows, looking up to meet bright red glowing eyes.
My eyes widen in fear, an oversized wolf stares down at me. I slowly start to get up, putting up my hands in defence. "Hey, doggy. It's okay, it's okay". I tell the wolf, sitting up with my hands still up. The wolf only looks at me, not doing anything.
I couldn't tell what color the wolfs fur is, it was too dark now. The wolf nuzzles into my chest, I pat its head. "You're a friendly wolf, aren't you, girl?". I giggle. It growls at me. "Boy, I mean boy!". I quickly correct myself.
The wolf nuzzles into my under arm, gesturing me to stand up. He puts my hand on its head and starts walking, I follow him. The woods start getting lighter and lighter, the wolf leading me back to the camp. I pat the wolf one last time, and he runs away.
