Chapter 9

"(Y/n)! Come shopping with us". Itsuka tells me, the 1-B girls beside her. "I suggested it! She's comin' with us!". Mina responds, her hands on her hips. Seriously? "How about she hangs with us?". Denki suggests, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Come on guys, stop arguing". Ochaco tells the two girl. "If you guys are gonna argue, she should just come with us". She adds, Tsu, Izuku, Todoroki. and Tenya beside her. Again, seriously?

"Just let (Y/n) choose who she'll go with. We're wasting time arguing about it". Tsu says. Finally, a voice of reason. "But I organised this just for her!". Mina cries. I let out a nervous sigh, scratching the back of my neck.

"Oi!". I hear. We turn to see Bakugou walking towards us. "Kacchan?". Izuku questions. "Shut up, ya' damn nerd!". Bakugou snaps, scaring the poor boy. He suddenly turns to me, making me jump slightly from his sharp eyes.

"New girl, you're comin' with me!". He tells me. "Wha-?". I muster out. He walks over and grabs the back of my shirt, dragging me away from the large group of teenagers. "Bye!". I quickly yell towards them, sending them a wave.

Bakugou continues to drag me, my shoes grazing along the ground. He takes me to the other end of the mall, but just stands still while still holding me. "Can you let me go now?". I ask, grabbing his wrist.

"Eh?". He looks down at me and drops me, hitting my head on the hard floor. I let go of his wrist and stand up. "Why did you just drag me off?". I question. "I thought you don't like me". I point out. "What made you think that?". He asks, looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"Well, it's just that you're kinda aggressive and yelling at me, so it gave me the impression you didn't like me". I explain. He leans closer to me, towering over me as he stares deep into my eyes. "What's wrong with you?". He questions, then starts walking away.

I stand there clueless, but quickly try to catch up with him. "Hey! Wait up!". I call out. Bakugou may be confusing me, but it's better to be with someone that knows their way around the town then being alone in a place I don't know.

"What do you mean, what's wrong with me?". I ask him. "Few seconds a go you where jumping when I looked at you. Now you're acting more confident". He answers. "Okay, yeah, that doesn't make sense". I agree with that he said.

"Stop yapping. I'm guessing you've never been camping and I go camping all the time, so I'll...". He stops, not finishing his sentence. "Help me?". I question, finishing the sentence for him. He turns away with a tsk, then grabs my wrist and drags me to a camping store.

I feel my heart flutter. No guy has ever been so kind to me. Is it because I called his twitching nose cute? A guy like Bakugou, I doubt it. But still, it's sweet of him to help me out. I don't know why he's being nice to me. But I'll make sure to thank him when we're finished.
