After Bakugou was able to calm me down, he took me back to the main trail and told me that he'd catch up with me later. I watch him run back into the woods with his pack following him close behind. I put my hand to my chest, frowning down at the ground.
"(Y/n)!". "(Y/N)!". I hear. I turn to see my group walking over to me. "(Y/n), where did you go?". Itsuka questions, grabbing my shoulders and looking at me in concern. "I went back a bit to go to the toilet, I got tired and took a break, then started making my way back up". I lie.
"You could have told someone". She tells me. "Sorry, I really had to go". I tell her in a nervous giggle, scratching the back of my neck. "Wait, where did Bakugou go?". Eijirou suddenly asks. Ah shit muffins.
"I dunno! When I turned to walk away, he was gone". I lie. I had to at least not tell anyone about Bakugou, I have to protect him from my end. Since one of the students was called missing, we had to start heading back to the camp early.
I waited in the same place where Bakugou and I talked the other night. It was time for lunch and I had to go get food, I got extra food for Bakugou. The sky started to get darker and darker, minutes turning into hours.
It was now nighttime and dinner time, I still stayed waiting for him. "Hey". I turn to see Itsuka walking up to me. "Still waiting for Bakugou?". She asks. "Yeah...". I answer with a nod. She smiles down at me, then sits down next to me.
"Do you like him?". She asks. My cheeks turn red, but all I do is nod. "Even if everyone sees him as loud and obnoxious, but I see another side of him. To me, he feel protective, he act kinder around me. I really feel like I love him, even after a short amount of time". I explain to her.
"He always amazes me, and he's so much fun to be around. So in other words, yes, I do". I add, hugging my legs close to my chest. "Does he know?". She asks. "Yeah. I talked to him on the way up the mountain. And he, in a way, confessed". I tell her.
"HE confessed?!". Itsuka squeals. "I'm so happy for you!". She giggles. "Thanks". I respond myself with a giggle. "How long do you think it'll take for him to come back?". She asks. "He's been gone for hours now, I don't know". I tell her.
"The staff still haven't found him or any trace of him". Itsuka tells me. I know I should be worried, but I'm sure that he'll be fine. "He told me that he grew up in these woods, so I'm sure he's okay". I tell her.
"Maybe he got tired of this camp and went back home?". I suggest. She giggles at what I said. "I still hope he comes back. I want to spend the rest of the camp with him, so we can grow even closer". I admit. "Wise words, (Y/n). Wise words".
